Thank you for your interest in our project. The ceiling is clear western red cedar with a transparent oil finish. If you are in need of an architect for your project, please contact us for a consultation. Thank you!

The recessed lights used in the kitchen are regular can lights. They were not for sloped ceilings as with the round lens at the bottom of the fixture, there is no reason to slope the unit. If a smaller can diameter is needed, open recessed lights (halogen 1499s with reflector trims, for example) are used in a sloped ceiling, therefore an adjustable sloped ceiling can is typically used. There is a limit to the maximum roof pitch these cans are used on that may vary by manufacturer. Thank you for your interest in our project!

Great, thanks. Do you know what sort of recessed cans were used here? I'm wondering if using an inset light with a baffle trim is sufficient for a slope, or if the entire light needs to be covered (as these apparently are).

Unfortunately, as the architects on this project, we do not have information about the interior design or the products specified by the interior designer, Chris Hoover of EDS San Francisco. Thank you for your interest!

Eurofase Canly is similar. Axo also has a style like this one. Marcey

FAS (clear grade) cherry with a clear lacquer finish. The cabinets were custom fabricated at a local cabinet shop and field finished. Thank you for your inquiry!

Gorgeous. I'd like to have them made for my next house.

It is a Caesarstone Quartz countertop. Unfortunately we do not know the exact color, however it looks most like "Mocha". You can get more information and see color samples from their website: www.caesarstoneus.com. Hopefully that helps!

Can you specify the stone used on the floor? Is it a tile, or on a mat?

I believe, based on the image, that this is Golden Sand (individual tiles). We're huge fans of your work Ward-Young! Hope you don't mind us providing some material information.
    • tarasw
If it's Golden Sands, it is an Emser product.

We make a pretty similar style fixture from fused glass. Check out our MOUNTAIN or GALAXY fixtures! Available with or without the hanging pendants.
