Décor Aid
Million Dollar Listing’s celebrity broker Ryan Serhant reached out to Decor Aid to stage a luxurious Brooklyn condo development. The only caveat was that our interior designers had 48 hours to come up with the design, concept, and source all the furniture. Always up for a challenge, we partnered with Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams to create this contemporary gem.
Staying true to their contemporary vision, our interior decorators sourced all pieces through MGBW. Starting in the living room, we placed the Gunner Sofa, a piece that offers clean-lined living. The thin arms and slanted profile emphasize the modern elegance of the home. Through the use of various contemporary patterns and textures we were able to avoid the one-dimensional ambiance, and instead, the apartment’s living room feels detailed and thought out, without making anyone who enters overcrowded with home decor.
The Melrose cocktail table was sourced for its sleek, stainless steel and glass design that contrasts with more substantial pieces in the space, while also complementing the contemporary style. The glass design gives the illusion that this table takes up less space, giving the living room design a light and airy feel all around. The living space transformed into something out of a decor catalog with just the right amount of personality, creating a room that follows through with our starting design, yet functional for everyday use.
After the living room area, we set our eyes on designing the master bedroom. Our interior decorators were immediately drawn to the Celina Floating Rail Bed, it’s opulent nailhead trim, and dramatic design brings fresh sophistication to the bedroom design, while also standing out as a timeless piece that can complement various trends or styles that might be added later on to the bedroom decoration. We sourced the Roland Table Lamp to add texture, with its elaborate ribbed design, that compliments the air of masculinity the Carmen Leather Ottoman add while contrasting with the light, sleeker pieces. This difference in weight left us with a bedroom decoration that lives up to the trending modern standards, yet a space that is timeless and stylish no matter the decor trends.
Once we finished and the project was completed, our senior designers took a step back and took in all of their hard labor. Decor Aid was able to make this newly built blank space and design it into a modern wonder small brooklyn apartment. The MGBW furnishings were all hand-picked to keep an even balance of complementing and contrasting contemporary pieces, which was one of our more critical apartment decorating ideas. The apartment home decor brings to life this modern concept in a way that isn’t overbearing and shows off their style making the space in every sense an accurate reflection of a chic contemporary style.

Rustic meets Urban Chic
Interior designer Rebecca Robeson, mixed the glamour of luxury fabrics, furry rugs, brushed brass and polished nickel, clear walnut… both stained and painted... alongside rustic barn wood, clear oak and concrete with exposed ductwork, to come up with this dreamy, yet dramatic, urban loft style Bedroom.
Three whimsical "Bertjan Pot" pendant lights, suspend above the bed and nightstands creating a spectacular effect against the reclaimed barn wood wall.
At the foot of the bed, two comfortable upholstered chairs (Four-Hands) and a fabulous Italian leather pouf ottoman, sit quietly on an oversized bamboo silk and sheepskin rug. Rebecca adds coziness and personality with 2 oval mirrors directly above the custom-made nightstands.
Adjacent the bed wall, another opportunity to add texture to the 13-foot-tall room with barn wood, serving as its backdrop to a large 108” custom made dresser and 72” flat screen television.
Collected and gathered bedding and accessories make this a cozy and personal resting place for our homeowner.
In this Bedroom, all furniture pieces and window treatments are custom designs by Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson made specifically for this project.

A master bedroom with an ocean inspired, upscale hotel atmosphere. The soft blues, creams and dark woods give the impression of luxury and calm. Soft sheers on a rustic iron rod hang over woven grass shades and gently filter light into the room. Rich painted wood panel molding helps to anchor the space. A reading area adorns the bay window and the antique tray table offers a worn nautical motif. Brass fixtures and the rough hewn dresser remind one of the sea. Artwork and accessories also lend a coastal feeling.

Robeson Design
Bedroom in downtown loft with NO windows! This was the challenge Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson faced when beginning this Denver Loft Remodel.
Rebecca began by identifying the focal-point wall and addressing the overall dark feel of the room. She painted 3 walls a soft grey and one wall a dark navy blue. Rebecca applied her creative genius to the space by hanging nine beveled mirrors on the dark wall above the bed as a clever way to fool the eye into thinking the mirrors were windows. To further indulge the concept, Rebecca added crisp white linen panels to mimic window treatments on either side. This design idea created a dramatic symmetrical backdrop for the Bedroom furniture... A spectacular oversized blue and white rug (Aja Rugs) sets a perfect foundation for the queen size bed with two oversize nightstands in crisp white, the Bedroom was complete.

Kids Bedrooms can be fun. This preteen bedroom design was create for a young girl in need o her own bedroom. Having shared bedrooms with hr younger sister it was time Abby had her own room! Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson took the box shaped room and added a much needed closet by using Ikea's PAX wardrobe system which flanked either side of the window. This provided the perfect spot to add a simple bench seat below the window creating a delightful window seat for young Abby to curl up and enjoy a great book or text a friend. Robeson's artful use of bright wall colors mixed with PB teen bedding makes for a fun exhilarating first impression when walking into Abby's room! From retro and modern to classic, “cottage,” and urban chic, Palmisano takes readers on a sumptuous visual journey featuring unique salvage ideas in an eclectic array of styles, for every room in the house—kitchens and dining rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms, living rooms and dens, and entryways and outdoor areas.
The journey continues with a sampling of cutting-edge retail spaces, hotels, cafes, and boutiques across the country that incorporate salvage into their designs, such as Industrie Denim in San Francisco, Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont, and Rejuvenation in Portland. Profiles of thirteen “salvage success stories” are also included, showcasing the imaginative designs of creative homeowners. This mid-century modern bedroom brings together some of our favorite design elements. We love the simple bed frame and all of the textured bedding for adding a minimal touch to this space. The gallery wall acts as both the headboard and the natural focal point. The sconce light fixture adds in a mid-century modern touch and the natural greenery makes this space feel lively.
Robeson Design
In this Spa-like Master bedroom San Diego Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson designed a custom built-in complete with chest of drawers niches for art, colored glass pieces and collectables. Special attention was paid to the cabinet hardware as Rebecca refers to it as Jewelry for the
cabinets!
Robeson Design creates a beautiful Master Bedroom suite by playing up the contrast between light and dark. Dark hardwood floors, stained four poster bed with nightstands, a custom built-in chest of drawers and wood trimmed upholstered chairs set a handsome stage for creamy bedding and soft flowing window treatments. The pale cream walls hold their own as the cream stripped area rug anchors the space. Rebecca used a touch of periwinkle in the throw pillows and oversized art piece in the built-in. Custom designed iron pieces flank the windows on either side of the bed as light amber glass table lamps reflect the natural light streaming in the windows.

This boho-modern design packs tons of textures and neutral selections for a design that is anything but boring. The seagrass baskets, headboard and wall art add in a natural texture that is warming and welcoming. The natural greenery adds life into the room and the subtle pop of color in the pillows helps keep this neutral space lively.
