James brings to the table a great deal of experience in both residential and commercial arenas, although my experience has been limited to residential applications. While he is fully capable of creating an independent design vision for a project, he, more importantly, has the ability to LISTEN closely to the desires of the client and allow their own vision to help drive the process. Some architects want to tell you what you want. James wants the final product to reflect your unique personality. Great architect and person.”

“John has nearly completed the plans for our new house and it has been a great experience working with him. He has a rare combination of both creative and analytic abilities. From a very general vision we initially provided, he was able to develop a high level plan in very few iterations, despite the fact we live out of state and had only a couple of face to face meetings. His use of 3D renderings was quite helpful in this process. The construction documents he created were extremely detailed and well thought out. Our builder was quite impressed and had no significant suggestions for changes. John's customer service ethic is also admirable. He is very responsive, patient, and always meets his commitments for deliverable dates and content. We break ground in a couple of months and based on our experience so far, expect John will work with our builder towards a successful project.”

“Last year we purchased a lake home on a narrow lot with a very steep slope. The home's parking was restricted to the basement level requiring navigation of 10 uncovered steps to enter the home. Brent Hunter designed us a beautiful and ingenious addition that allows covered parking and level entrance into our home. The design also allows for older or handicapped guests to easily visit our home . We just love the addition as it allows us to now enjoy our dream lake home well into our twilight years. Thank You Brent Hunter.”

“It's telling when your house receives "love letters" during construction and after. One lady stopped her car in the street, hailed me over from the driveway, and said: "I adore your house...it's my favorite new house." Another admirer left a telephone message stating: "Yours is the most thoughtful home I've seen in a long time. Congratulations." The downside [!] is that we've accumulated a lengthy list of people who wish to tour the house and we'll get to them over time. Please know that if Leo Sapene designs your home, you will be pleased. ----------------------------------- I would encourage anyone working with Leo to use him for construction oversight as well. It is invaluable to have a knowledgeable architect to rely on during construction.”

“I retired April of 2012, but worked for Kimberly A. Michaud Interiors for over twelve years. During that time, there is probably nothing that could take place within that industry that we did not experience. She always handled herself very professionally and with great integrity (even at a financial loss if need be). Through her company, I was able to meet and know other designers and realized that Kim worked unbelievably well with even her competition. Kim is the most knowledgeable designer I know. She has excellent knowledge of the industry and is wonderful with color, She has worked with many young "designers-to-be" thru local schools, giving internships needed for their graduation and I know has made a big difference in their lives and what are now her competition. She has helped produce good designers in the industry. There are world reknown designers that we read about, Nationally known designers that we see on TV, but believe it or not, Kim has more talent than the majority without an attitude. She makes your experience fun and stays within your budget.”
