“Marin has great vision when it comes to design. He is able to come up with great use of space and function. Contempo studio has a talent in modern designs and it shows through their work. Geometra Design Ltd.
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Oakville
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsNovember 8, 2012
“I hired Gabriele and his company, Geometra Design in June 2012 to design a 3,500 square foot, 2 storey home that I will be building in south Etobicoke. Gabriele was able to complete concept design, committee of adjustment application and meeting, building permit design and application in less then 5 months. He was able to accomodate all aspects of the building permit requirements, including mechanical engineer, structural engineer and final renderings. His professionism and approach to the project, including deadlines was unsurpassed. He was able to facilitate all my needs, from design to building permit application (which in Toronto in not easy). His knowledge of the new digital building permit application requirements, made my application process very easy. I was told at the City of Toronto building department that most people do not have all the documents in the required format, but my application was perfect. I am very pleased with his work ethic and ability to respond to all requests. He was very easy to work with and I would recommend Gabriele and his company to anyone who is looking for a knowledgable architect, who can take any project from start to finish with ease. I look forward to working with him again soon. Gino C - Wynford Homes Ltd.”

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsMarch 18, 2020
“Gene was exceptionally professional. We were looking for a creative designer to help us build our home in an unusual residential/commercial setting. Gene's design included a floorplan for 2 storey's of residential space which included a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and millwork throughout. His attention to detail and finishes is above and beyond. We were keen on avoiding box store finishes and Gene was very willing to help us secure options within our budget. Gene's knowledge of the construction aspect of the design was key and he was open to being on-site to help throughout the job. I would (and I have) recommend Gene.”

“Timing: quick to respond and turn around at all stages of the 200k home reno Consultation: good listener and incorporated our wish list into drawings; made some additional suggestions and revised to final spec. Design: brought our vision to life from initial sketches to drawings issued for construction; 3rd Party Coordinator: handled electrical engineer and helped with GC convos; very collaborative with trades; Trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional at all times. Advisor and coach: helped us navigate difficult situations; recommended material sources; went beyond the call of duty at committee of adjustment hearing to defend our design and get approval; Available in timely manner for all stages of renovation; I would work with Atelier Pool again. I would do a better job at managing scope of work / cost - approx. 30k for services, including initial design work, engineer and ongoing consultation.”

“We worked with Kaegan on the addition of a year round sunroom for our home. He was very knowledeable and using my sketches drew up working plans to help us navigate the complexities of the building code, and produced a great design with which to obtain building quotes etc. He helped us realize the vision we had for our home and we would definitely recommend hiring him! Our next project may be a kitchen reno including the removal of a wall. Rick Crouch and Sandy Raymer”
Trevor Keir Design
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Oakville
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJanuary 22, 2021
“Trevor and I have worked together for several years on a variety of interesting projects. As a builder, I appreciate Trevor’s attention to detail and his ability to come up with designs that are aesthetically pleasing and well-laid-out, yet practical and “buildable.” His familiarity with the architecture and construction of older Toronto homes (which comprise the majority of our work) – as well has his familiarity with the ins and outs of the city’s zoning and permitting processes – means I can always rely on him to get the job done. Trevor is also a great communicator; he’s easy to get hold of and is prompt in answering questions. Most of our clients require the services of an architectural designer; others will have already found their own. But I’m always happiest when Trevor is on the job!”
