“The principal architects, Kurt and Kristi, are not only extremely talented in architecture and design, but pay strict attention to what it is that the clients wish in their home or commercial project. So often architects are not adaptable but these folks are. They also make a genuine effort to stay within budget though that is so difficult to control with costs bouncing all over the place and clients changing their minds during construction. For character and ability, I whole heartedly recommend MWA.”

“Ken is easy to work with and has fantastic local knowledge that came in very handy for my Cabin project. I had a rough time with the design company I was using to draw our cabin plans, called ken to talk about Engineering and ended up ditching the deign company I was working with and had ken do the whole thing. There is a HUGE benefit from having your plans done by an engineering company. Ken is one stop shopping. He also gave great recommendations for Tree Services and contractors. I would hire Ken again for all future projects.”

“I recommend Wallis Design Studio. We were out of town clients working with Robert and his staff to redesign/remodel a home in El Dorado County. It is a challenge to be 400 miles from your property during the design process. They are patient, efficient, informative and creative. One staff member even worked during holiday closure to be sure that our plans were submitted timely to the county planning department by a deadline that, if we had missed, could possibly have cost us more in fees. Great job. Can't wait to see the finished product.”
