“Arcon Architects & Builders designed and built our wonderful house on Lake Keowee in Seneca South Carolina. Their professional expertise coupled with years of practical experience ensured the house not only met our family's needs but was built on time and within budget. By carefully assessing the building site Arcon ensured the house afforded great lake views from every room while minimizing the need to remove mature hardwood trees that I so love. They coupled the site plan with wonderful architectural features like 3 foot overhangs to minimize afternoon sun and allow the windows to stay open even during the rain ! In addition the cantilevered deck affords a sense of "floating over the lake" while maximizing the views from the lower level rooms. “I have a mountain home with a multi level metal roof and a large wraparound deck. I wanted to screen in a significant part of the deck to create a space with a tongue and groove wood ceiling covered by a metal roof that would blend into our existing structure. Two highly recommended screening companies turned us down stating there were too many roof angles to accomplish the job with any quality result. After some research I hired Kirk Bowden, architect and owner of Bowden Environments LLC. Kirk is a talented professional.
