“Mike & his excellent crew ripped out 20 yr old ceramic tile in our foyer & kitchen & replaced it with a beautiful new tile job. It is a large area, with numerous angles & turns. The new tile was in 3 different sizes & we selected a somewhat irregular pattern. We also had an area that needed to be re-leveled, so the job was complex. They also installed a new backsplash. The crew showed up on time, each & every day, was very respectful of our home & did everything possible to contain the dust in what was a messy demo job of the old tile. They are true craftsmen. We are thrilled with the job they did and the end product. When we had an issue with a small area of grout on the backsplash ( not their fault) , Mike came out promptly to handle it. They also did our master bath tile -- floor, shower walls & tub deck--- a few years ago & we were similarly pleased with their work. “We have woked with Battista Granite twice, the first was our kitchen and bathrooms when we built our home, and the next was for our second kitchen/bar when we finished the basement. Both were great experiences. The girls in the office are very knowledgeable and helpful. They really know their granite! It was so nice working with Annette and Mindy, especially during the building process. There are so many decisions to make, but having someone willing to guide you with any part of the process relieves lots of stress. We just stopped in with our flooring and a cabinet door, and walked out feeling like we had made great choices because of the attention we received at Battista. During our basement constuction, we went to a big box store to get ideas. We were steered to another local granite business, which we went to. It is amazing the difference between businesses that offer the same product in the same area. The granite all comes from the same suppliers, so it is up to the installers to offer the best price and/or service to win customers. Well, Battista was far above the other place in customer service, and even though they are a little higher in price, you can be assured that your job is the most important one to them when it's your turn. I called Battista when I realized that there was no way I was giving my business to the other place because of the treatment my husband and I both received during separate visits and phone calls. I called Battista the week after Thanksgiving, having no hope of having the granite installed before Christman. During that phone call, I had appointments for the measuring and the install even before I'd picked out the granite! I called Battista on November 28 and had my granite installed on December 12, stress free! The installers are personable, polite, and very professional. They really know what they're doing, and they do it in a timely manner. When they were gone, the only sign that they had been there was my beautiful, new granite. There was no mess, and more importantly, no dings, nicks, or gouges in my walls, cabinets, or floor. They also do not try to sell you all kinds of expensive granite care. They recommend sealing the granite once a year, and cleaning with soap and water, the same way you clean your dishes. We highly recommend Battista Granite to everyone. You will not receive better service anywhere.”
