“We inherited a 1970's "avocado green" galley kitchen. We did the best we could with simple homeowner improvements (replaced appliances, etc) but finally had to do a remodel. After interviewing several design/build firm, with went with Anthony Wilder. They created a design within our budget, and made some important safety upgrades that previous contractors had done incorrectly. We took out an interior wall and bumped out the back wall. We bought new high-end applicances, custom cabinets and installed hardwood floors. We also added a lovely back patio. The AWDB employees supervised every step of the remodel and made sure we were 100% satisfied. We love our new kitchen! It's been over 2 years and we still get compliments on its design and its beauty. Best of all, the total design and craftsmanship has greatly increased the value of our home.”

“After receiving several estimates to turn our attic into a master bedroom suite with a bathroom, we went with Thomas Custom Builders (TCB). They did not provide the cheapest estimate we received, but they were extremely professional, provided the most thorough information, seemed focused on doing things right, and we were really comfortable working with them and communicating with them. We are extremely happy we went with TCB. The renovation process hasn't been perfect - which is really not possible - but TCB has been excellent at finding solutions to the unforeseen things we could not anticipate. More importantly, they do things the right way and are honest about what is going on and what needs to be done. This was our first renovation, so we asked a ton of questions, but the entire TCB team always took the time to talk us through stuff and answer any questions we had. Lastly, the quality of their work is superb. We've had some neighbors over throughout the process who have gone through several renovations and they commented that they could tell TCB were true craftsmen based on the quality of their work. I would highly recommend their services and will hire them for any renovation work we do in the future.”

He was punctual, and always followed up with an email to check the status of my talks with the bank. He was always respectful and actually listened to us. “Work was completed in my kitchen - removal of one wall and existing floor (3 different types); reconstuction of pantry; installation of new 3 drawer cabinet, new floor, countertop, back splash, and new lighting. MW Construction management and staff were very professional and courteous. The staff came as scheduled and management kept me appraised of progress throughout the project. Management personally helped with my selection of flooring, countertop, and back splash; and I received contractor pricing even though I personally paid for the items separately (no overhead added for MW Contruction). Items in and around contruction zone were protected throughout the project and construction area was cleaned up at the end of each work day. The end result is beautiful and of high quality. What stand out about SB was 1- their estimates were very close to the actual cost, 2- they did the job on time & 3- they made no excuses like lots of others I have seen because they didn’t need to. “HomeMadons, Inc. completed a small job for me. He replaced my laundry room door which was semi-basic. They retrofitted a door that required mortising of hinges and used new hardware. The new door with frosted glass and stencil picture pops the area and really makes it stand out! He and his crew were extremely professional, on-time, and worked within my tight schedule! I would highly recommend them for any work and will be using them in the future!”

“We have used Winn Design on two different occasions. The first, in 2007, was a project to replace the exterior doors, windows, and siding of our 1969 ranch house. As part of the project, we added a natural wood portico to the front entrance. More than 5 years later we still have people stop to take pictures and ask us who has done the construction. In 2010 we contracted again with Winn to extend and completely remodel our kitchen. As this was our first experience with a project of this size, the design process was very daunting. However, Winn patiently worked with us over a few months through many revisions until we had a design that fit our needs and budget. During construction we went on vacation and the project manager sent us pictures and summaries on almost a daily basis so that we could keep up with the progress of the project. As the different trades came to the project we were impressed by the quality of the subcontractors Winn used. Several trades mentioned that Winn was one of their favorite companies to work with. Happy and skilled subcontractors are also key to a successful project! Renovations can be very intimidating and stressful on a marriage. We are very grateful that Winn, through their professionalism and quality of work, made the process as pleasant and successful as we might have hoped for. Now, with more than 2 years behind us, we know that we made the right choice to use them. There are many contractor horror stories out there, but you won’t have one with Winn.”
