“We've used Anderson Design + Build twice now and plan to use them again. They completed a custom flagstone patio for us 2 years ago complete with matching bench seating, lighting and fire pit. We liked it so much, we hired them again to build a matching built-in bbq. All of which continues to receive glowing compliments. The owner Rob is honest, his prices fair, and his crews work hard. Only complaint is it can take a while to get estimates during busy times of year - so plan accordingly (If I could have given 4.5 stars I would have). We recommend them to friends and neighbors and feel good about doing so on here again.”

“Spectrum has done a full bathroom and basement renovation for us, in addition to several smaller projects including replacing all the exterior doors to the house and refinishing our front porch. The quality of the work is excellent. Communicating for the purpose of planning and providing feedback is easy due to their rapid response and liberal use of email and cell contact. They responded well to feedback regarding the work site when we had complaints about dust and so forth. The quality of their work holds up; our bathroom completed in 2008 continues to be in terrific condition. They were described by the person who referred them, an architect, very accurately. “While still living in Tokyo, I tried to renovate my condo I purchased last autumn in Washington, DC. The condo was about 40 years old from the previous renovation and I needed to renovate the whole kitchen area and the part of the bathroom. TJ offered to use a teleconference system that allowed us to communicate face to face on video while looking at the drawings on a computer screen. This system was very helpful because I had to finalize the detail of the drawings while I was in Tokyo. I met TJ face to face only twice: To determine the detail of the renovation for the first time, and to check the completion at the second time. He also negotiated with the manager of the condo to get an approval for the renovation. One of my major goals of this renovation is to set up the exhaust ducts from the kitchen to the outside. I am so happy to find out that Case was able to set up exhaust ducts from the kitchen to the outside of the condo by restoring old unused exhaust ducts. I highly recommend TJ’s professionalism and Case’s performance to those who are looking for an efficient contractor to renovate your kitchen and bathroom. “My husband and I had debated for several months if we should move to a larger space, or renovate our current home for our expanding family. I had brought this up with Rick Byrd, the owner of Byrd Design and Build (BDB), and he immediately came to our house to talk with us through all of our options. He walked through our house and really gave us some amazing plans to make the space we already had more usable and more modern and up to date. This was the perfect option for us, considering we were expecting our first child. He laid out all of the different renovation plans we could have and really helped us envision a space catered to our wants and needs. My husband works from home, so we thought it was going to be a difficult journey to do an almost complete gut job of our basement and first floor kitchen/bedroom/bath, but BDB did an amazing job accommodating him and being cautious of the space we weren’t renovating. During the construction process, all of the subcontractors of BDB were extremely nice, non-invasive and very courteous of everything in the house. Darren, the project manager, was always attentive and mindful of our timeline, which was shortened due to the arrival of our new baby. We have the perfect new nursery, brand new kitchen and bathroom, and an entirely finished basement all just in time for our son. Everything was completed in a timely fashion and in pristine condition. We are obsessed with our basically “new” house!”

“Work was completed in my kitchen - removal of one wall and existing floor (3 different types); reconstuction of pantry; installation of new 3 drawer cabinet, new floor, countertop, back splash, and new lighting. MW Construction management and staff were very professional and courteous. The staff came as scheduled and management kept me appraised of progress throughout the project. Management personally helped with my selection of flooring, countertop, and back splash; and I received contractor pricing even though I personally paid for the items separately (no overhead added for MW Contruction). Items in and around contruction zone were protected throughout the project and construction area was cleaned up at the end of each work day. The end result is beautiful and of high quality.
