“Nathan Murphey was the Project Manager overseeing the construction of our new custom home in Anaqua Springs Ranch completed in 2016. Nathan was professional, and we developed a good working relationship right away. Nathan followed through on his commitments and accommodated our schedule whenever we needed to meet. His attention to detail was extraordinary, and he corrected most issues before we ever noticed them. Nathan is extremely creative, and he was able to provide cost effective solutions to avoid expensive change orders. Nathan maintained a very good and trusting relationship with his sub-contractors, and he was able to get things scheduled on a time. We were very impressed with the quality of construction as well as Nathan’s meticulous attention to detail. We are very pleased with the home and enthusiastically recommend Nathan Murphey to anyone considering construction of a custom home. We were so pleased with Nathan that we only considered Evolutionary Homes as a contractor to build a workshop / detached garage in 2019.”

“I had used KM Builders to remodel a Master Bathroom, paint the Master Bedroom and slightly update a Powder Room (Hallway 1/2 bathroom). The service from start of demolition to the end room was given the attention I needed to meet a time frame and addressed most concerns within hours through the process. I would have liked to see more consistency in the project management from the signing of the contract through the design effort to the demolition start. The initial contract sales project managers did not pull things together and seem to push things off on others. He didn't follow through on items I asked for It took too long from the signing of the contract to getting a start date. He did not provide guidance through the design/selection process. Once the project was in kick off mode, the "construction" project manager was introduced. This construction project manager took about 2 weeks to give me a start date. Then, on the start date of the construction, another project manager was assigned. This project manager did his best to pull together all the loose ends from the previous project managers. I had provided input throughout the construction on what would be better for the customer and thoughts to process improvements for KM Builders. The final project manager was very receptive and addressed each matter professionally and timely. His efforts would make me consider hiring the company again under condition he was the project manager.”

“Over 8 years ago, VD&B did a large remodel of our home to include new kitchen, new bathroom, inside painting, fixtures, flooring, roof, new porch and driveway, etc, etc. We were/remain highly satisfied with the design, work, price, courtesy and time involved. Recently, through lots of use, two heavy custom made cabinets needed to be rehung in the laundry room and dining area. We called VD&B to do the work which they did quickly and completely. We expected to pay for the work. Next, Bryan Smith, CEO, called to say there would be no charge. Our huge satisfaction with VD&B continues!!!”

“I hired C-Sostre Architecture to design and build a reconstruction project from a 40 year old house we bought in San Antonio. From the very beginning, Architect Sostre was involved in every aspect of the project. The old house was taken down to the frame and rebuilt. The company was extremely cost conscious obtaining multiple quotes from different sub-contractors in order to obtain quality work for the lowest prices. For the most part, deadlines were met and the architect was always an advocate for our interests. The result was a brand new house with beautiful modern interiors and efficiency beyond anything we could have dreamed of. My utility bills are one third of what they were in my prior home and the modern look is different from most home styles in San Antonio making it a conversation piece whenever we receive new visitors. I highly recommend this firm for your design and build needs whether it is a remodel job or a project built from scratch.”
