“I'm happy to give Scott Curtice my strongest positive recommendation. Our project went quite smoothly, staying on schedule thanks to the fact that my office is in the house and Scott's commitment to providing a foreman. This enabled us to make decisions quickly and address problems promptly. Scott and his crew showed a lot of creativity in meeting our requirement to stay in the house during the renovation, to the extent of setting up a temporary kitchen and shower in the basement. In the end, we only had to be out of the house for about a week. He was also very good about coordinating with our architect and the cabinetmaker that we selected ourselves. Having heard a few horror stories of renovation cost overruns, I think we also did well in this respect. Our final figure was about 10% more than the initial estimate due to the kind of unforeseen issues that can be expected on any such project, along with a few changes that we ordered. The level of detail Scott provides in his constantly updated spreadsheet also helped us to make some decisions that reduced our cost.”

We always felt he was looking out for our best interests and working with us to achieve the best results. His crew and subcontractors he works with were of the highest quality, friendly and always did a great job to return our home to as a functional as possible at the end of each day. We have at least one more project we are hoping to do with Vin. It wouldn't cross our minds for a minute to work with anyone else.”

She has both the knowledge of a general contractor and the vision of an interior designer, so the finished product was kept in mind from the very beginning. Monica’s attention to detail never wavered throughout the arduous process of re-configuring an antique cape, and she was able to help us turn many would-be issues into bonus features of the finished product. “A talented group of professionals that have worked on a remodel of the facade/elevation of our house and then a complete gut and remodel of our Masterbath and bedroom. Creative, kind, focused, and incredibly talented. They were so easy to work with and a pleasure to see each day as well. We were happy when the job was completed (on schedule) but sad to see them go because they were such nice people.”
