“Family meals are special times so I wanted a special dining set that would serve an evolving family and eventually become a cherished heirloom. After searching most of the furniture stores in Calgary, I realized I needed a custom design. Fortunately I found Keith, an amazing artist whose wood creations are beautiful, timeless, and meticulously crafted and engineered. Keith made for me tables and chairs that are "sculpniture", both sculpture and furniture. The chairs are beautiful but, as importantly, are exceptionally comfortable. The seats are canted and shaped and the laminated back slats are curved to support the back. The table is solid wood without veneer so when it's time to refinish, a little sanding will make the table new again. The 5ft6in round tabletop is firmly supported by a pedestal that is surprisingly elegant. The table also opens to accommodate two 14in leaves, a feat that requires a sliding mechanism that Keith designed and built. The mechanism is so remarkable, I will lie on the floor under the table so I can admire it. And I've had the set for over 20 years. I recommend Keith without reservation. Best of luck with your project and enjoy your collaboration with a gifted artist and wonderful human being.”

“We discovered Mobius Objects through Houzz and were thrilled to discover they live/work right in our own backyard (Calgary, Alberta). Rachel and Jonathan are an exceptional team! They are truly passionate and dedicated to every aspect of their business. We made our initial inquiry with Mobius on February 3rd, and by February 13th, after meeting with Rachel, we knew we wanted to proceed with a custom dining table. Rachel worked with us to design a live edge walnut dining table with plexiglass panel legs. She (and Jonathan) listened to our ideas and with consideration they made sound recommendations, structural and design, to ensure a beautiful and high quality product! We are visual people and have never commissioned a custom piece before. Rachel really helped us throughout the process by providing CAD drawings and images of the design concept which helped to facilitate our decision-making with ease. Rachel and Jonathan were, at a minimum, on time with their commitments and typically ahead of schedule in completing our table.. It's April 16 and we just took delivery of our table tonight (it was actually ready before we were ready to receive it!). To say we are thrilled is an understatement! We would confidently recommend Mobius for your custom design, without hesitation! They fully exceeded our expectations and they are a pleasure to work with. Thank you Rachel and Jonathan! We'll be sure to raise our glasses to you both when we enjoy our first meal at our new table! :0)”
