“I hired South Park on the recommendation of a friend to plan and execute my condo renovation project. The place was to be completely gutted, some walls moved, all of the flooring replaced, along with a complete re-do of the kitchen cabinetry, plumbing, and a rebuild of the bathrooms. Project Management: Matt and the guys at South Park were exceptional at managing the project from beginning to end. They gave me a realistic budget with a clear understanding of the elements of the project that were uncertain. They were also excellent at anticipating what areas I may want to add/remove from the scope of the project as it progressed and at working within the confines of my budget. They were incredibly transparent and at no point was I uncertain of how we were tracking to the budget, despite there being a number of moving parts. The project involved a move-out/move-in and South Park helped to organize and coordinate with the movers. Over the course of the 8-week project, I needed to be out of town for about 3 weeks. During this time, Matt kept me apprised of the situation with the renovations, using an online project management tool to send me photos of the progress. As this was a condominium project, South Park needed to coordinate with the Property Management with respect to association regulations, bookings and tools. They were exceptional at managing this without requiring my intervention. DEFINITELY worth every penny to eliminate this headache alone, not to mention all the coordination with the various contractors and specialists involved. Suppliers & Contractors: The contractors and suppliers were extremely professional, respectful and skilled. I was very impressed with the various trades involved in the project and was kept in the loop for all major decisions. No friction at all, and I took advantage of South Park's excellent supplier relationships in my purchase of hardwood, tile and other materials. Overall Assessment: Excellent. Professional, transparent and very easy to work with. Very highly recommended!”

“Gianluca is more than a contractor and it shows. He is very good at what he does. He has fostered exceptional relationships with top-notch trades. He listens and is very responsive. His standards are exceptionally high. He is proactive, and he understands how best to work with clients and guide them through the renovation process. This was our first renovation experience. We changed the flow of the main floor, gutted and expanded the kitchen, moved a wall, windows and a fireplace, and gutted the bathroom and main bedroom closet. Carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, HVAC and electrical were required. We interviewed several contractors, checked references and hired the contractor we thought could do the job. As the project progressed, we realized it was not working out. Mid-job the mistakes and delays became apparent and after much frustration we had to part ways. The project was a mess. One of our suppliers suggested Gianluca. What a relief – the difference was night and day. He quickly and thoughtfully assessed the situation and uncovered problems we did not know we had. We looked forwarded to working with Gianluca and his team each day they arrived on site. Gianluca provided accurate assessments of the work required and completed the work on time and on budget. The results were what we had hoped for, and in some areas better than we expected. Gianluca, all we can say is thanks.”

“My husband and I bought a home for our family and knew we had to make some changes to better suit our family and make it more functional. We had a very tight timeline and like most people, a budget to work within. From the moment we met with David and Jason we knew we were in good hands. What really stood out to us from the first meeting was how attentive they were to our needs and wants. They spent most of the meeting learning about us and reasons behind the project to better understand and help guide us. Their "Project Planning Phase" to us is the only way anyone should build or renovate. We were able to look at different options to ensure we maximized every aspect of our renovation, while fitting within our budget. The key takeaway form this phase was that we had an accurate budget and schedule before we ever signed a Construction Contract! Once the renovation began, it didn't matter who we had helping us. Whether it was our Project Manager Jake or the rest of the team that came to help when needed. They were all so attentive to our concerns and questions. The level of communication by the Alair team is unmatched! Their trade team are all so gracious and kind, but most important have the quality of work to back up all those qualities.
