“Clauss construction put an addition on each side of our lake house. On one side a sun porch with two walk in closets and a basement beneath. On the other side a garage and office on the middle level with a game room above, and a laundry room with a half bath below. New windows were added in the main house to connect the areas. We were given wonderful designs ideas, the workmen where very cooperative and treated it as they would their own house. The worksite was always clean at the end of the day so we were comfortable living through the construction. We have recommended the company and would be more than glad to do so again. We have felt comfortable calling on them when there have been other work to be done.”

“We contracted with Martin Homes to complete a renovation of an existing sun room, a replacement/expansion deck and a new screened-in porch. From start to finish Joe Martin monitored the job, the subs and the work on a daily basis. Each day he checked in with the homeowner (me) to ensure that I knew who would be going to the house the following day and what work would be done. This is the 6th major construction project I have completed on various properties over the past 27 years and Martin Homes was the most professional contractor with whom I have done business. His staff is helpful, his carpenters (especially Bruce) were neat and cleaned up each day so that we could live in the home during the ongoing construction. Change orders were documented in writing and signed off on or sent via email with confirmation from me before he would proceed. Joe Martin is a stellar professional in an industry that has a bad and often well-deserved reputation for its lack of ethical, qualified construction professionals. In short, we were not disappointed in our choice of contractor and would hire him for future jobs.”
