“Excellent job. Job involved improving existing 24’x 32’ workshop. Adding roof over deck on one side and raising the roof height on lean-to structure to accommodate tractor on the other side. Entire building was resided. Work was accomplished in a professional manner and the worksite was cleaned up at the end of each work day and at the completion of the job. I was kept informed on all aspects of the work. I would recommend this builder.”

“HEDS Architects designed a modern and sustainable house in Nelson County, VA that is being built by Ben Butler of Capler Homes. The concept for the house is a bridge over a ravine. This idea on a very sloped wooded hillside would have shaken many contractors but Ben's enthusiasm and can-do spirit has been key toward moving forward. The project is now under construction and Ben and his team have undertaken a number of building technologies that are anything but standard for home builders. An example: 30" deep steel beams had to be craned in sections and welded from a crane above the steeply sloped ravine. As a modern house, there are many design details that are unique and Ben has been enthusiastic in taking these on. We have been working with Ben and a supplier to source and detail a unique metal facade system, for example. The house incorporates sustainable technologies such as triple-pane windows and Ben has both contributed his own knowledge as well as researched the new proposed technologies. Finally, the quality of the workmanship is excellent. We expect a lot from our contractors and Ben is one of the top builders we've worked with in over thirty years in the profession. There are few builders who are as keen as Ben to take on new challenges. I look forward to completing this exciting project and working on new projects in future with Ben and his team.”

“Mr. Beasley served as the general contractor for the construction of our second home, a modular cabin. Even though he had never dealt with modulars before, he took the job. He arranged for the modular walls for the basement, excavation, plumbing, electrical, and well. His own team designed and built the second floor porch and first floor deck. We learned about modulars together. He was willing to work with us as modifications became necessary because of the idiosyncracies of the modular assembly process. We love our cabin and continue to use his company for further work on the cabin as money becomes available. We consider Mr. Beasley to be one of our friends, and recommend him to others who have asked about our cabin.”
