“We hired Saltsman Brenzel to build a new house on the site of a demolished house. We had completed 2 construction projects in the past, with different companies, and our experience with SB was superior in every way. The design of the house is sensitive to the neighborhood and the site, while incorporating our requests. The design/build aspect was seamless, from permitting all the way through to finish work. The budget was kept track of with regular meetings & weekly spread sheets. I would highly recommend SB for a productive, low-stress, and enjoyable construction experience.”

“My wife and I have used Brad at Custom Builders many times since 2016 when we purchased our home from them. We purchased our home while already under construction and had our first of many positive experiences with them finishing the construction to our tastes and design. Since 2016 we have had them do multiple big projects. A year after moving in, we had Brad and his team back to finish our basement where we added a full bath, office/bedroom with a built-in desk and walk in closet along with a large family room space aka man town. May 2022 was our most recent project, where we had them back both expand our deck and add a garage under the deck. We couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, all of our experiences were nothing short of exceptional. First and foremost, Brad and his team demonstrated unparalleled professionalism and expertise throughout the entire process. They took the time to understand my vision for the project and provided valuable insights and suggestions to enhance it further. “We recently completed a large, comprehensive renovation of our home in Cape Cod. Peter McDonald Architects did the entire design. They worked very well with us to identify our needs and to create a design that was very appropriate for our home. They guided us to a very good contractor; and worked very effectively with them. Ultimately, architect, contractor and owner worked together to arive at a finished renovation project that was VERY pleasing to us as the owner. “Greg Clancy came highly recommend to us by my cousin, who's house was built by Greg. My husband and I bought a house in N. Falmouth that was built in 1987 and needed an updated floor plan and design. Greg met with us and immediately saw the long term goal we had for the home and was willing to work with us in stages as we couldn't take it all on at once. He made our difficult decisions easy by presenting scenarios that would help our home work well until we could do the "big renovation". I've always acted as my own general contractor but as we live hours away from Falmouth, knew I needed a general contractor with great sub contractors to get this initial project finished. Greg has treated us like all of his "high-end" clients and I can not say enough about his professionalism, daily text-messages with photos and weekly updates. He even plowed the street in front of our house to clear a clogged street drain that was flooding. I thought I knew a lot about design but he has installed it all, and has given me so many great ideas for "phase II". Greg Clancy is respected by everyone we have met in Falmouth for his expertise, high level of communication and quality of work. He even had my house professionally cleaned when he was finished! We are ready to move in and could not be more pleased with Clancy Construction.”

Phil and his crew are great to work with and I would use them again and again! Our latest project was huge (a house built in 1780) and I knew I definitely was going to use Martelly Building & Design. “Mike and his crew are great. He is very responsive, and will make sure that you have an end product you are satisfied with. He installed a master bath in our new house's third floor, in what previous contractors had said would be "impossible" or overly difficult due to the sloped attic roof. The results are phenomenal, and we were able to select every element we wished, from fixtures, tile, tile placement, trim, and details, such as edging and baseboards. The crew was kind, flexible, and moreover, they are polite and easy to be around, which is vital if one works from home. Mike replies promptly to texts, and always calls or stops by when something isn't clear. We stayed firmly within budget, completed the job for an extremely reasonable price, and his contractors detected and fixed leaks caused by the work of a local contractor we had previously hired--we will always be grateful for that. When we didn't like an element or noticed mistakes, we told him, and it was no problem and it got fixed, even if creative problem-solving was needed. We would recommend ByHome without hesitation to anyone.”

“Hawthorn Builders are amazing. They expertly lead us through a massive, 10-month renovation and addition project... pretty much the only thing remaining intact of our old house was the living room floor! This was a complicated, difficult project where we were dealing with conservation land issues, septic issues, old-house-meets-new-house issues, and the myriad other issues one can expect during a large renovation/addition project. Hawthorn continually gave excellent advice, supported our decisions and worked hard to resolve each and every new challenge. They are extremely knowledgeable, keep an excellent team of subs at their fingertips and are professional in all aspects. And on top of all that, their work is outstanding.
