“The kitchen/dining area in our Shandaken (Catskills), NY house--built in 1967 as an uninsulated hunters' lodge--was on its way out. The oven no longer worked, the third of the three refrigerators we went through was utterly inefficient, the cabinet drawers often stuck as if they were cemented in place! Long story short: Dan Dwyer and his excellent and friendly crew gutted the area, added insulation, installed recessed lighting, rewired extensively, and revamped the plumbing (so that we no longer need to crawl under the house to drain the pipes in winter). They installed the new cabinets perfectly. They removed a wall to extend the small kitchen. All that and more was AFTER Dan himself suggested a new design, including removing the wall, which worked beautifully. When we saw what his crew accomplished with the kitchen (where they discovered and eliminated mold, an unexpected health benefit), and noted the exquisite tiling of the new floor and back splash, we asked them to sand and poly the floor and staircase in the adjacent living room, install insulation there as well, and replace the molding (his suggestion, not ours). We could go on forever: Hire Dan and his people; you will be delighted.”

“Simple Integrity renovated our old lake front camp. This project included jacking up the camp, replacing the foundation piers and central carrying beam, demolishing the old kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom, building a new kitchen with new windows, a new bathroom and replacing the roof. Josh and the guys from SI also built us a new deck and stabilized the staircase to the lake. From the start Josh's estimates were right on the money and the job cost exactly what they had estimated and within the time frame they predicted. The crew's work was awesome and exceeded our expectations and our vision. They were unfazed by the complexity of the renovation and tackled all tasks with confidence and speed. Best of all they were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They brought an old falling down camp back to life and it is a joy to spend time there. Their craftsmanship is impeccable - I'm looking for an excuse to hire them again!”

“When I purchased my dream property in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, my excitement and the stress of an overwhelming project ebbed and flowed back-and-forth. The property needed to be cleared, septic, electric, water well, you name it. We need to do it. We also need to deal with all of the regulations...DEP, DEC, engineers, local building codes. Etc. etc. I didn’t know where to begin . I was lucky enough to meet RJ before the first chainsaw cut down the first tree. We live three hours away from the project. RJ was the rock and the conduit between myself and the property and the project. He took us from our concept to completion. His vision matched up with ours and his skill is second to none. This guy is talented. Not only did he complete our home in the mountains. He often comes back and checks on it and has done additional projects for us. He always follows up and he’s always there.
