“We must, by way of relief and gratitude, begin this review of Thoroughbred Custom Homes with the highest regard and highest recommendation! I first would like to start by commending TCH on their utmost honesty, high integrity, and professionalism through and through. After critically and extensively researching several other “custom home builders” in the DFW area, i can confidently say that none of them hold a candle next to Thoroughbred. Thoroughbred created a masterpiece of a home that far exceeded our already very high expectations. The quality and scale of our home is stellar- they do not take shortcuts. The materials thoroughbred used to construct the shell of our home, as their standard, typically would cost tens of thousands to upgrade to through other home builders. They truly are not bluffing when they say high quality is their standard, this company sets the bar extraordinarily high. Harris and Evan are exceptional construction managers. They both went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, to ensure to job site was clean each and every day, and most importantly that the jobs were being done right. They kept us informed at all times and made sure jobs were getting done on schedule day in and day out. They were very transparent about costs, and they made the process so easy with the BuilderTREND app. Unlike our experience with other large scale home builders, we were never once blind sided or price gouged when it came to choosing interior finishes. In fact, because of our experiences with other home builders in the area, i can also confidently say that thoroughbred has the most generous allowances when selecting finishes. As someone who is passionate about design- this is where it hit a home run for me. Gina, who leads the design aspect of construction was an absolute pleasure to work with! Gina has excellent taste, class, and vision. She helped guide me through to make the right choices, in addition to steering me away from what could be a bad choice by considering the dynamics of our life…(kids, dogs, etc.) She truly pulled everything together seamlessly without me ever feeling overwhelmed, and i never want to design another house without her!! All of this leads me to say that although Thoroughbred Custom Homes is a newer builder to the North Dallas area- they are exactly what this area has been missing. You can find a home builder just about anywhere in Dallas- but you won’t find a top of the line, best of the best builder like Thoroughbred.”

“Our entire end to end home construction experience with Newport Homebuilders was excellent. Everyone on the Newport team is highly professional, very experienced, and is committed to providing the highest quality product and service. Throughout the entire design, construction, and follow-up process, the team made a continuous effort to assure our requirements, expectations, and questions were managed in timely and thorough manner. We found Newport Homebuilders to be very flexible during the construction planning phase relative to assuring all of our nonstandard desires could be incorporated into our finished home. Unlike the big homebuilder companies, we were able to easily modify the base floor plan to include our personal design preferences into our final plans. The team was very accommodating and offered their perspective and guidance to be sure the changes we identified fit nicely with the overall design and layout. We also were very pleased with the generous list of features which were offered as standard, versus costly upgrades with competing homebuilders. Newport Homebuilders molding and trim package is second to none when compared to other homebuilders at this price point product. This trim quality and attention to detail was a key factor in selecting Newport Homebuilders to build our home. “Tom and Scott built this great house for us about 8 years ago. They were involved from design and of course through construction. With over 7000 sq ft, we had lots of questions and challenges for first time we had a house built. They were terrific and we felt that we got a good value and great advice throughout, plus quality construction. Important too was that they stood by their work and do so even today. I know that if I had a problem with this house that was even remotely related to construction that one quick phone call would bring them back and they would take care of it. We did have a problem several years after construction and they fixed it at no cost to us. We have also had some remodeling done by them and they are great. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone. I would attach a picture to this, but do not see a way to do that.”

“We worked with Noble Classic to do a remodel on our home. The work is beautifully done, ideas were innovative and the staff was extremely responsive to our design input and materials request. The project was more difficult for the builder because there was also storm damage involved and they were very professional in dealing with the insurance company, estimates and inspectors. A remodel project is very different from a new build and experience and innovation are key elements necessary for success. We consider our home a very successful example of their work and we'd hire them at any time. There's a lot to be said for a company you still admire after living in the home during a remodel. I have, in the past, recommended this builder and will continue to do so in the future. They're top notch!”

All the work was done on time or early, the quality was top notch and Brandon Bush was easy and pleasant to work with. Also, we even had a couple issues come up in the past year and he has been able to get them resolved without a problem. Highest recommendation!”

“Drew, Karen and I want to pass along to you our appreciation and amazement at the renovation work you did for us. We are so pleased at the work, the quality of the work, the timeframes to complete and the overall effort you, and your team, took in making this rather extensive renovation go very smoothly. As we started this renovation process, we certainly got hung up in the cycle of “what we designed, what it costs, and what we could afford. Although that might have been an overwhelming cycle, you stepped up and offered many ideas and workarounds that not only fit into our budget but exceeded our expectations. I think what amazed us the most was your ability to walk through house and offer changes that kept us excited about all the work and the potential that the house had. Since the completion, I can’t tell you how many people have come by the house and comment on the changes to the outside, and ask if we wanted to sell it. Of course we do not, but it’s nice to know that people recognize the quality and value of the renovation we went through. Also I have been told by local real estate agents that not only are we a landmark on the lake, but that they have been asked to find details about the renovation. “We bought our house (Burkett) from Mike in 2008 and although we knew at the time that the home was well constructed we have truly appreciated that quality ever since. There are so many details that are present in the home from architectural to hardware choices that truly make it unique and special. If my wife and I were to build another home Mike would be the first person we would call. This year we needed to make some changes to the use of our home which required us to build out the attic space. It looked very complicated and I wasn't quite sure how to make it happen. I called Mike who came by with an Architect and looked at the space. After several meetings and an estimate we started the project and everything went exactly as planned. The added space looks like it was part of the house all along, everything we could have wished for. Excellent experience, highly recommended for both original construction and a remodel. - Peter”
