“Scott and I have been so so pleased with the help Laurie has given us in decorating our home. Laurie is very creative, fun to work with, and has amazing colour sense. She recently helped us bring cohesiveness to our large high ceiling "great" room. A dining and sitting space with a wood stove, that was disjointed and lacking warmth and coziness; is now just the opposite. Reclaimed ceiling tin was found, stripped, and then antiqued , and mounted to hang beautifully on our chimney. A one of a kind art piece that visitors to our house keep admiring. An area rug, a round end table that Laurie did a "tea" stain on, a fabric covered coffee table with custom legs that Laurie designed and stained, a mirror, and pillows; are all items that she brought in. Function was considered, not just the aesthetics. Also our house was built in the 1950's; decorating was tastefully done in keeping with the general look of the whole house. In a nutshell.
