“For the nursery of my first baby I wanted a designer who is also a mom with the experience I lacked. Brittany fit the bill perfectly. She was able to advise me on all of the best nursery must haves, but also tailored the space to my taste and budget. The final project is a room that is perfectly appropriate for a little girl, but also blends seamlessly with the contemporary interior of the rest of the home. Brittany is the consummate professional, a delight to work with and has exquisite taste and understanding of fabrics, color palette and texture mixing. I will use Brittany again for any spaces dedicated to little people and recommend others do the same.”

“Busy lives and little design skill meant we needed some help. Our home had aged and become very dated. JHD Design to the rescue! Jennifer Doyle started by transforming our boring, sad (and very brown!!) den to a fresh, welcoming and beautiful space perfect for everyday living and entertaining. We were so amazed at the improvement that we asked Jen if she could update our front room which had become an unused space filled with inherited pieces that we loved but gave the room of an old fashioned parlor. You will see in the picture that Jen honored our treasured antiques while putting a modern fresh look on the room. This is now my favorite room in the house and friends gravitate towards it. Our teen daughter was entering high school and we recognized she needed more of a young adult space versus her "little girl" room. The bedroom pic I have included his hers -- pic was snapped after she left for school. She loves her room so much that she keeps it neat and tidy. It is a place of respite and a getaway for laughs with her friends. I HIGHLY recommend Jen for your project of any scale. Jen offers options, stays within budget and handles details from beginning to end. We had considered selling our home but now are staying put because we are so happy to come home to such a beautiful space that reflects us -- NOT cookie cutter out of a magazine or a furniture showroom. We are lucky to have found this caliber of design work who is willing to work within our budget.”

“I had the privilege of working with Laura Boyd while renovating our beach house at Kiawah Island, SC. Friendly, knowledgeable, thoughtful, professional, she was a delight to work with. She listened to my needs and made excellent suggestions. From the first, she “got me!,” and understood the look that I wanted but couldn’t figure out how to achieve. She gave me practical advice on fabric choices and taught me to be more bold in some of my design decisions. I came to trust her judgment and was never disappointed in her work. Our relationship began before restrictions because of Covid, but she made it effortless to continue our work for months in quarantine, by phone, email, and Zoom calls. The end result...rooms that look beautiful, fresh, new, unique! Everyone comments on how my house feels like a home. And I tell them...”Laura Boyd is the BEST!” I cannot praise her work or her work ethic enough. I will continue to work with her as I plan future projects at our home. “Jelena redecorated and designed my family room. She instinctively got a feel for my style and was able to pick out a few options for each item I wanted to redo. We did wall art, sofa, chairs, end tables, lighting, rugs, and built-in bookshelf redecorating. We are very happy with the final product. She is easy going and I love working with her.”
