Irene and Bill Turnbull provided within our budget, a turnkey solution in our addition which included the preparation and overseeing of all architectural and engineering drawings, obtaining permits, choosing appropriate finishing materials, hiring qualified tradesmen and supervision right through to the completion of the project. Irene always delights us with her profound knowledge in decorating our homes, giving good advice in lighting, choosing paint palette, fabrics, window dressings and essential how-tos to pull it off in our own way. We use Turnbull Interiors for all our renovation and interior decorating needs because they have always met and exceeded our expectations.”

“I would highly recommend Design for Conscious Living. I wanted to spice up my drab apartment and decided that I needed professional help, so I hired Celia. I was initially impressed by her professionalism and soon learned that she also has a sense of humour, which was useful when she worked with me to accommodate my somewhat eclectic tastes, The results were beyond my expectations. Even simple things she suggested completely changed the feel of an area. Her use of colour and her ability to utilize space transformed my normal dull apartment into a vibrant living space, on which I have since received numerous compliments from friends. “I had the pleasure of working with Suzanne Hallam virtually for help with our sunroom addition at the cottage. She was amazing to work with and provided great insight, making me confident in pieces we were using, and really putting the whole thing together. She helped us with big picture ideas, as well as small details. She would give me an idea and then email examples by way of pictures. She really helped pull together the right colours and feel for the room so it would flow with the adjoining room in the existing cottage. We discussed flooring, lighting and fans, couches and chaise lounge (for a beautiful reading nook overlooking the lake) and more! It was an absolute pleasure having Suzanne on board!”

“Recently I purchased my first apartment with my boyfriend. Because I had never decorated my own place before I was very confused with colour choices and on what wall each colour should be on. Lori was beyond the most helpful, patient and knowledgeable interior decorate I have ever come across. She explained to me how the sun can come in at certain angles making the colour choices I picked looking very different than the colour samples. Because of her she made our apartment feel like a home rather than a stepping stone till our next place. I couldn’t have done it without her help!”
