“We retained Genise to help design the interiors for a 5.800 sf house in Lincoln. Genise was excellent to work with. She listened and understood the style of home that my wife and I were trying to achive and even made our ideas a fews levels better. She worked very well in managing the contractors to ensure that the design goals were carried thru to the completed house. When guests came over, they always commented on how the nicely the house turned out. We were were happy with the results. I would heartilty recommend (and have) her to my friends and also would use her again for our next house.”

“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“Although it wasn't our first home purchase, and we had some experience renovating before, when we bought a large old historic home in need of serious renovations, we were overwhelmed! The project included a master bathroom, girls bath, powder room and kitchen. We hired Alison as our designer and never looked back. This was our first time using a professional designer and we were so happy that we did. It was just such a joy working with Alison, and thats when we realized how important it is not only to find someone that could really bring your vision/style into reality, but also someone that you enjoy working with and that made the process easy, fun and approachable. She helped guide us through the process, gave us great ideas, really listened to what we wanted/were looking for, and ultimately got us to a final result that we loved. Over a very long time we have used her services to include a whole kitchen redesign and each time she did a fantastic job. In addition, her follow through is outstanding. She goes out of her way to insure that her clients are always informed and provided with the best service. We were delighted with her design of our kitchen and every person who visits our home is overwhelmed with how beautiful the kitchen now looks and functions, Finally we recently needed repair on a drapery that she selected and had installed (years ago). “We hired Deborah to stage a home that we needed to sell, and later, to build a custom home. She took just a weekend to stage our home! Within a week of her staging job, we had a great offer. She is extremely talented, competent, and budget-conscious. We then hired her to assist us in building a custom home from scratch. She was with us every step of the way. We were blown away with how efficient and cost-effective it was to hire her. Not only is she an amazing and brilliant designer, she also is extremely knowledgeable about the building process and the real estate market. She had an almost innate ability to tell if we would like something or not, and she helped in more ways than I can even list. “Jenn Wall just completed a full design of my office and waiting area for my psychotherapy practice. She listened to my vision and helped me create a space that would yield the perfect client experience. Jenn offered careful and thoughtful assistance through the process and guided me through what items look best together stylistically. She gave me options (but not too many) and for everything from the chairs down to the coasters on my coffee table. She didn’t miss a single detail. Jenn was able to maintain functionality for my clients while still providing a beautiful space. She was readily available for questions and checked in often to see how things were moving along. I’ve gotten so many compliments from friends and clients about my office space and I am so happy it is exactly what I wanted.”

“I would highly recommend working with Vanessa Ford Interiors. My wife and I are super busy with work and the kids. We had two parts of our house that have been on our list of rooms to tackle since we moved in two years ago. The act of actually taking the time to research and plan out these rooms was a big reason as to why nothing had been done for over two years. Vanessa was the exact solution to this under resourced problem. She came in, took stock of the situation, asked us some questions and then came back with amazing mock-ups of what this space could be like. Everything was 3D rendered and it really helped us visualize what these rooms could be. She included a detailed shopping list that stayed within our defined budget. Best of all, is her patience and ability to quickly pivot direction when tastes change. Our first pass on her first concept was very much "Wow, we are done! Great job!" Then after we slept on it for 48 hours we start second guessing, wanting to tweak things. I kinda felt bad asking for a different take (100% included in her cost) after having gushed over it in the first walkthrough. Vanessa took all of our feedback and quickly came back with something that really hit all of our needs. Working with Vanessa is really buying time and focusing your own style through her lens. When I look at the final product it feels like us, not like a strangers room. But if I tried to do what Vanessa did we'd likely not have done a thing for another two years, and it likely wouldn't look nearly as nice.”
