“I was at ease within seconds of meeting Alicia as I knew Marrokal would, of course, put the best person in her position to work with clients. More importantly, I knew her comments were genuine and welcoming, and that we would be a good team together. She deserves an A+ on every facet of the project. Many times I changed my mind on something or had silly questions I needed to ask. She was always available to take my calls and never once rushed me. She was instrumental in choosing the right color and material for my kitchen counter top (silestone), and understood that I did not want the traditional kitchen cabinets. Alicia is knowledgeable, has a superb eye for colors and design, and kept my project on schedule without going over budget. I could spend countless words describing her work but I think it speaks for itself. She is a true professional in every sense, and I am fortunate to have had the pleasant experience that I did.”

“My company worked with Moniker Design as we were trying to bring to life a high-end, commercial space for Sony Electronics. The space needed to be a home base for film makers to sample new Sony camera gear, it needed to be a meeting place or coworking space for studio execs and it also would be used as an event space all-in-one. Quite the design challenge. It was a very high profile project from a high profile brand that needed stellar design, outstanding implementation of design and expert project management throughout. Moniker was an incredible design partner.”

“After trying a couple of other previous designers, I came across Jesper and his right hand Millene at DNA designs. They have been leading remodel efforts at my house in La Jolla, for entire house. Since the start, their professionalism and efficient approach was evident. And at a reasonable cost. No fuzz, time efficient, and with a superb taste that differentiates them vs other local designers. Jesper brings an attention to detail that’s impressive, with his European roots (Denmark), while being a pleasure to work with. He’s also well connected to contractors and always open to find ways to save the client money. Bottom line: differentiated taste, efficiency, professionalism, and flexible to the clients needs. Strongly recommend them.”

Madison helped take our out of date 70's tri-level home into an updated clean and fresh two story California transitional home that we never want to leave. After 11 years of being in this house, it's now truly our home. From picking tile, flooring, countertops, hardware, lighting, paint - you need someone that understands what you want and what your needs are as a family.
