“In 2003, I was quite overwhelmed and stressed out when we remodeled our kitchen and two downstairs bathrooms without a designer to help with the many decisions that have to be made. For our 2nd major project - a master bedroom and bath remodel, along with two other upstairs bathrooms - we knew we would use a designer and we turned to Valerie Garrett Interior Design. My husband and I were really impressed with Valerie’s attention to detail which was evident by the meticulous way she helped us make every decision of this project. With Valerie’s level of talent and extensive knowledge, and with the assistance of a contractor that really helped move this project along quickly, we knew we would not have the same mistakes as in our first remodel. Valerie made sure to keep the pace moving forward and that progress was never slowed down by working ahead of the contractor. Since we had Valerie Garrett working with us on this project, I was definitely stress-free. It is so rare to find someone with her level of organization, dedication and enthusiasm. She was able to transform our Traditional Dining Room from a colorless "nice" setting to a warm, colorful, Traditional yet Modern atmosphere that we truly love! We now make an effort to eat in our Dining Room weekly because it's so inviting! Natasha was able to put our dream into reality! Natasha came to our home and we figured out together how we wanted our Dining Room to look. Then she did all the leg work and found the items we discussed as well as painted, re-arranged our furniture and hung all the fixtures. Natasha did everything she said she would do within the price range we agreed upon. She also consulted with us throughout the process to make sure we approved her choices and their perspective prices. She truly lives by the motto the customer is always right because she made sure all our desires culminated into a true master piece!”

“In 2018-2019 we renovated the entire first floor of a house we had recently purchased. Kimmel Design worked side by side with us to not only design the new floor plan but also in selecting everything from kitchen cabinets to light fixtures. Kathryn Kimmel was a major part of figuring out how we could redesign the master suite to meet all of our needs. She also came up with a new configuration for the kitchen when we picked appliances that were not going to work in the previously designed space. She was also great in helping us determine tiles for counter tops, floors, showers, etc. In general, she filled the gaps when we were at a loss and listened to our desires when sketching out a functional floor plan to meet our needs. I would definitely recommend Kimmel Design.”

“My wife and I have been clients of Norwood Design for many years. There are several reasons why. Teresa has always taken the time to spend with us to understand what our use case for the work we want done. Going far beyond simply putting colors together or fabrics, Teresa continually brings new ideas to the table based on her conversations with us. My wife is a visual person who isn't always comfortable with change unless she can see it. Teresa brings many images with her in preparation for these meetings. This last project was a complete color change to the exterior of our home. Teresa's first meeting with us for was for 3hrs. She prepared several different palettes for us to begin working through. She walked us around our property to visualize the many options in shade and sunlight. Teresa makes it easy to tell her what we did and did not want or like. We went from a basic 2 color with black shutter to a rich 4 color palette that makes every architectural element stand out. Look forward to our next project.”
