“I gutted and renovated a one bedroom condo that hadn't been touched since it was built in mid 80's. I got in touch with Lisa through the best contractor I have ever hired. Lisa worked with the contractor, the cabinet firm, myself and directly with my wife re: finishes. The project was on time and on budget. Lisa never panicked when things were adjusted, (shall we say) not as "on paper," or just didn't work. She really was a stabilizing force for all concerned. Regarding the real reasons I hired her....to make the place work better, bring it up to date and communicate her design to all concerned as I was away for large blocks of time, she did an excellent job. The place has a timeless air about it. The flow is exactly how she said it would be. I've seen other units in the building and this unit is the best I've seen. Would I work with her again? Damn right!”

“Alyssa is kind, patient, and easy to work with. I am the most indecisive person on the planet, and to get my SO and I to agree on home decor is like pulling teeth. Alyssa made it so easy to choose what was right for us. Some backstory: My boyfriend and I bought our house knowing it needed some work, but it was clear that we could not do it ourselves. Our spare room had black walls (no thanks) and no closet space, the kitchen desperately needed appliances, counter tops, cabinets, floors... the list goes on and on, and our ensuite had no bathtub, and I am a bathtub kind of girl. Needless to say, we needed the help of a professional and we wanted a lot of things. We met with Alyssa and it was clear right from the beginning that she would be fun and easy to work with. She knows all the latest trends, but also makes sure your space is functional and suits your needs. For example - the bathtub scenario. I desperately wanted a bathtub and it took some major spacial tweaking on her part so that I could have the bathtub and keep my walk in closet, but you can bet she made it happen and I am so, so happy! Alyssa was easy to communicate with and never even blinked when I changed my paint colours 84 times, or the handles for the cabinets even though we had already ordered them. And she seriously made it FUN to renovate my home. I love my boyfriend dearly, but it can be a testing time when you start renovating as a couple, but with Alyssa it was easy to find the balance we needed! She is professional, unique, and I cannot stress this enough - easy to work with. She is as good as it gets. I will recommend her to everyone, I promise you will not be disappointed!”

“We have an oddly shaped condo and weren't utilizing the space well, so my friends had Nightingale Designs come in and look at our place and we ended up doing everything that Kori suggested (okay, we still have one wall to paint- but that's our laziness) and it looks amazing. Kori suggested we get a longer couch to make our small living room look bigger, and we got the couch in December, and it made the biggest difference. With the beautiful throw cushions, blankets and all the details that tie the place in (that my husband and I overlooked) I feel like our place is right out of a magazine now. It makes entertaining and everyday living so much more enjoyable, we are so proud of our place now.”
