“I hired Practical Sanctuary to paint my stair risers after being inspired by a one of Steph's paintings as a customer at Practical Bodywork. She came to my house to get a feel for the space and ask me about colors and my vision for the room. I had this wild idea that each floor of my 3 story row home should feel like a different part of our natural world. I asked her if she could make the staircase a smooth transition between the blue sea on the bottom floor to the green earth on the second. (Sky was third floor). Her work is absolutely beautiful! I could not have imagined a more perfect design for the feeling I had in mind. It's functional artwork that sets the tone for the living room and is the first thing that greets me when I get home from work and open the front door. Since then, I have also hired Practical Sanctuary to create a design for a hut housing my rain barrel in the back yard. The art work she has done added value to my home and tastefully gave life and color to my formerly boring space. Veronica”
