Josh's design skills are exceptional; every project I have seen is stunning. His ability to move between styles proves his dedication to his craft. He does not do the same thing over and over again like so many designers do. All of his work is unique and well thought. I would like point out the professionalism of his crew as well. The guys are "on it". They are engaged, aware and have always had a great attitude when faced with less than exciting situations. Great Company!”

“Paradise Designs just completed my backyard remodel. I could not be happier! Our designer, Paul Daniels, listened carefully to our needs and came up with a plan that kept costs down and reused plants and pavers already on site. We had a tight budget but the finished result feels luxurious to me. I was very impressed at how easy Paul and his crew made the whole process. He was there often to oversee the project and his crew was polite and worked very quickly. They installed an automatic watering system, built a retaining wall and steps, created a combination paver/gravel patio and planted a wide variety of succulents and other low-water plants. It is beautiful and easy to take care of. We got a lot of bids but Paul's design was by far the best and I could tell in the interview process that he was a very knowledgeable professional. I am so thrilled with my new backyard. A friend who is a real estate agent asked how much we spent--when I told him, he said that we had just added twice that price to the value of our home. Better quality of life and increased home value? You just can't ask for more.”

He listened to our ideas and asked questions about our lifestyle and our goals for our space (which included a pool). The result is absolutely perfect! Throughout the whole process, he was professional, creative, timely, and extremely responsive. “Mclaughlin installed hardscape in my backyard consisting of spa with waterfall, fireplace, retaining walls, raised patio with dual steps, pilasters and custom benches. The hardscape turned out beautiful. High quality material consisting of travertine and stacking stone , excellent color/texture for stone work, grand looking custom colored concrete caps on retaining walls and pilasters. High quality spa equipment. The curves for walkways and walls add an interesting dimension to yard. Jerry has a key eye for art which he is able to translate into his landscaping projects.”

“Bruce Oliver is very easy to work with. He listens to ideas and offers suggestions that make sense and is sensitive to environmental needs. Working in Laguna Beach can be very challenging with the city codes and Bruce has worked closely with them. I have also hired him to be my project manager as I am doing a full renovation of a house as well as landscaping and a pool design.”

“We were fortunate to have Katie Cool redesign the landscape in our backyard two years ago. We continue to love her design and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the landscape as it has matured. So when we decided to rid our front yard of its lawn and use drought tolerant landscaping, we knew who to call. Katie once again proved to be just the right choice for the job. She is a creative, knowledgable and responsive professional. After listening to our particular needs and desires she created a unique design that exceeded our expectations. She also designed a privacy panel for the front porch using vintage glass blocks that she was able to find. The result is a cool design that looks original to our Midcentury Modern house. We love it. She is particularly effective working with the contractors during installation. She is on site for all critical decisions and manages the project to completion to ensure that her design is implemented according to her vision and our satisfaction. This works extremely well. After the job is completed, she follows up with visits to check on the landscaping and problem solve any issues. We are now left with the unfortunate realization that we have run out of yard space for Katie to transform and we will miss working with her. She is quite simply the best.”
