“Busy lives and little design skill meant we needed some help. Our home had aged and become very dated. JHD Design to the rescue! Jennifer Doyle started by transforming our boring, sad (and very brown!!) den to a fresh, welcoming and beautiful space perfect for everyday living and entertaining. We were so amazed at the improvement that we asked Jen if she could update our front room which had become an unused space filled with inherited pieces that we loved but gave the room of an old fashioned parlor. You will see in the picture that Jen honored our treasured antiques while putting a modern fresh look on the room. This is now my favorite room in the house and friends gravitate towards it. Our teen daughter was entering high school and we recognized she needed more of a young adult space versus her "little girl" room. The bedroom pic I have included his hers -- pic was snapped after she left for school. She loves her room so much that she keeps it neat and tidy. It is a place of respite and a getaway for laughs with her friends. I HIGHLY recommend Jen for your project of any scale. Jen offers options, stays within budget and handles details from beginning to end. We had considered selling our home but now are staying put because we are so happy to come home to such a beautiful space that reflects us -- NOT cookie cutter out of a magazine or a furniture showroom. We are lucky to have found this caliber of design work who is willing to work within our budget.”
