“We purchased this townhouse (before and after pictures shown) and wanted a fairly extensive renovation done, including expanding the 2 front bedrooms, building a whole new upper deck and removing the lower deck, building a ground floor entry room, renovating 2 bathrooms and enlarging one of those, adding an outdoor (enclosed) shower, new roof, new tankless propane water heater, replacing all floors with luxury vinyl tile, replacing all front windows and slider on the deck, removing all wood paneling throughout as well as all popcorn ceiling, replacing all doors, repainting entire interior and front exterior of house. Tom Stalheber is our builder and is president of OBCR. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of planning and completing an extensive renovation as ours was. We have been so impressed that we're proceeding with another addition on the upper floor extending and completely renovating the kitchen and eating area. Tom and OBCR will be doing the work, as we wouldn't consider anyone else. That's a strong a recommendation as I can give.”

“JB handled a major interior renovation for us - basically stripped back to sheet rock and building out from there. We could not have been more pleased with the process and result. First, JB is not only deeply experienced in all aspects of home construction, he has great taste and is very creative in finding solutions. Second, his subcontractors are first rate - there when they say they will be there and finished on time. Third, he was personally engaged in all aspects of the project, always available, always returned calls, and personally inspecting work as it progressed. Fourth, his fees are fair and billing was transparent. He helped reduce costs by suggesting options and helping with material costs. Finally and most important, the result was excellent. We are engaging him for a follow on project.”
