“My husband and I are extremely pleased with the wonderful experience we have had so far with RIKB. We are moving from the designing stage into the ordering process. So technically we still have a few more weeks before we begin the actual renovation of our kitchen. If the rest of the process goes as well as it has, we will be posting another rave review. They take you from the design of your project through to it's final conception. Their staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful. Their goal is to create the kitchen you want within a predetermined budget range. Well it's done. We love the results. It's like living in a brand new house. All thumbs up for RIKB!!!!! We love our new kitchen. Here are the before and after pictures. You decide. We are glad we decided to go with RIKB. It's a joy to cook and eat in our lovely new kitchen. Thanks RIKB!!!!”

“After interviewing several contractors, we are so glad we hired Steve and his crew to completely rebuild and expand our 1950s kitchen in our 1920s fixer-upper. Steve was incredibly detail oriented, yet flexible and patient in working with and advising us as we designed most of the kitchen and small addition project ourselves. He did everything possible to be respectful of our budget, even as we ran into a few (to be expected in an older home) small surprises. His advice was invaluable, and responsiveness immediate. Moreover, he agreed to work with our plumber with whom we are friends and already felt very comfortable with working on our home. His other subcontractors, including work on tile, plastering, and electrical, were all as pleasant and reliable as Steve himself. Steve was omnipresent; always making sure the job got done right no matter what stage it was in. Steve always made sure to make any touch ups needed after the subcontractors finished their work. Steve and his crew were not only nice to have around, but created a safe and even fun atmosphere while we lived through this major renovation and necessary disruption in our home. With their diligent work, we went from a cramped, awkward, and outdated kitchen, to one we love and doubles as both functional and sorely needed social space that our modest home previously lacked. Steveworks turned our ideas into such a great kitchen that we promptly hired them to completely renovate our dated bathroom. Steve worked with us, our sometimes quirky house, and a very tight budget to give us a dramatically improved space. We highly recommend Steveworks to anyone who is considering hiring a contractor. “I hired Glenn and his company to completely redo my kitchen/dining room, including tearing down a wall, new cabinets, new lighting, new kitchen floor, new sliding porch door, new window, new liquor cubby and new desk alcove. He designed the whole thing and I’ve been extremely happy with the result. Glenn and his crew arrived and departed daily in a timely manner, always cleaned up before leaving for the day, and allowed me the use of my kitchen sink on all but one day for the duration. They were personable, friendly and knowledgeable and they took time to make friends with my pets. I’ve been very satisfied and pleased with my new space. The job was completed in June, 2017.”

“Our prior contractor was too busy for the work that needed to be done which led me to find Bonsai Builders…a blessing in disguise, if you ask me! Our front porch was in need of some major updating (a lot of rotting wood, railings were wobbly, pillar trim and paint coming off, etc). They were able to squeeze us in their busy schedule which I totally appreciate. Jason was very honest with what work needed to be done as I initially only asked for new railings. I didn't want to wait until the rotting wood got worse so I agreed and trusted his professional opinion. Thank goodness I did because there was a little more damage from water and ants that he found which I didn't want to deal with down the road. He used pvc to wrap the base of the pillars (which looks so much better and well proportioned) and replaced all our risers and kick board with pvc too. I am all for low maintenance so I'm glad I don't have to worry about rotting wood again! He even replaced our electrical outlet to a more low profile one. Jason is a perfectionist..very detail-oriented and meticulous, he kept pointing things out that I would never have noticed and fixed the issue promptly. He and his worker were respectful of the property, cleaned up after themselves, and were on time. I can't forget about Kristin (Jason’s wife and company manager) who was very communicative in regards to scheduling, estimates, etc. She was very responsive and got back to me quickly whenever I had a question (a rare trait these days!). Overall, I would definitely recommend Bonsai Builders and look forward to hiring them again in the future. I've already received so many compliments online. Even my neighbor stopped to say how beautiful it came out as she was driving away. We hired them again to redo our kitchen countertops and backsplash. Hire them, you won't regret it!!”
