“Like most kitchens, mine was well used and showed it. I knew I needed to remodel, but several years went by with no action because I was so worried that I would spend a small fortune and do something wrong. I told my trusted contractor that I needed design help, and he recommended Becky of RZ Designs. He warned me that she was busy planning a wedding. When I spoke with her, she offered to refer me to someone else since she wouldn’t be available for some time. But after speaking with her for 45 minutes or so, I said, “I will wait. I want to work with you.” Good decision! When I met with Becky in person, I pointed out the “tolerations” I had lived with for 40 years. If I was going to remodel, these were the things that needed to be addressed. In a very short time, Becky presented me with three optional floor plans. I considered each, picked one, and requested a couple tweaks. Again, it seemed like no time before I had a revised floor plan and elevation drawings. This was painless! Importantly, Becky listened, and there was no hint of her ego insisting on one plan or another. I have now enjoyed my new kitchen for over a year, and not once have I thought, “I wish I had done this or I wish I hadn’t done that.” It is MY perfect kitchen and I love working in it. Finally, I recommended Becky to my sister-in-law who was unhappy with bids and ideas she had received regarding a bathroom remodel. She thanked me and said Becky was great.”
