“It was a great pleasure to work with John and Advanced Building. They are incredibly professional, detailed, organized and patient. Everyone on staff provided a very high-quality of service. We had our old house demolished and rebuilt from scratch. 3500 sq ft 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. We have been working with our Designer and Architect for over a year making the house perfect and it was finally time to have it built. We found Advanced Building by recommendation from the designer. It took 9 months for the house to be built. We were part of the process through each step and they kept our family updated with each phase. Great communication. Job sites were always clean, secure and active. Fun for the kids to watch from a distance. We are very happy with the quality of work, craftsmanship quality and highly recommended. We love having parties at the house and enjoying the backyard pool. Showing it off!!”

“I had living room, dining room and kitchen totally remodeled. I have very limited space and Doreen was able to get every last inch for me. She worked with the contractor seamlessly as if they were a team. I am so pleased in having her as my designer. She was able to get more storage and space in my kitchen then I ever thought possible. I even still have a few sheves still empty. She understood my cost constraints and still made my house look like a million bucks. Words used by my friends after seeing the remodel are incredible, awesome, beautiful, unbelieveable, and stunning.”

“Neil at DezignBlue is a true professional. He was on time, accruate and creative. He helped me design the modern kitchen I wanted, for a fraction of what I would have spent with other manufacturers. He knows IKEA inside and out, and worked his "magic" to hide the microwave, make the fridge panel look like a solid wall of cabinets, etc. He even flew to Sacramento to measure and design in person. I recommend him without heistation.”

“Hi Love working with Lori. I had a remodel done for my kitchen and bathroom and Lori was very helpful in choosing the right colors to match and everything to coordinate. When you are spending so much money remodeling I felt it was important to have someone like her. I absolutely love my remodel and get complements all the time. Lori is very talented and listens to her clients.”
Cabinets by Design

“After our great experience with Cabinets by Design with a kitchen remodel a couple of years ago, we called them again to remodel a very tiny en suite bathroom. Their clever space design in our small kitchen had been so successful that we thought they were the only company we would consult on this challenging project, a great decision. Sandra and her team managed to create fantastic extra storage, wonderful lighting, and even room for a comfortable soaker bathtub....all of this with elegant materials and beautiful, soothing colors that tie in with the master bedroom. We now have the master retreat that had eluded us for so long. Sandra really listens to what you think you want and then translates that into something better and something that really works. Thank you, Cabinets by Design.”

“We are in the process of a DIY kitchen remodel but had a very challenging floor plan which did not flow very well nor did it follow the basic kitchen triangle layout. We found Kevin through the NKBA. He was the only designer who contacted us that was not a contractor looking for a remodel job. He came to our house for a consultation, and using his extensive knowledge, came up with a workable and functional design that we would have never thought of, taking into account our wish list. He also has a wealth of contacts for various other trades which was very helpful in our putting together our project plan and budget. The process that he follows from initial consultation to finished deliverable was top-notch. He starts with a rough draft which he converts into very professional 3-D designs. This allows his clients to give feedback and continue to refine until it is to the satisfaction of the client. The 3-D designs are then converted into 2-dimensional plans which are needed for the various aspects of a remodel. Overall, Kevin was a pleasure to work with. Even though we were a DIY client, I understand that he also works with contractors. We are so grateful that we were able to find someone willing to work with a DIY'er that could solve our challenging floor plan.”

ReFind Kitchens

““They just don’t build ‘em like they used to.” And that applies to kitchen cabinets as well! I am currently building a new house from scratch, and rather than spend a small fortune on medium or low quality newly-manufactured goods from a large box store or discount house, I wanted quality goods at an affordable price. Fortunately, I found ReFind Kitchens! David has almost as good an eye for quality as I do. Were it not for him, the Youngstown-brand all-steel Mid-Century kitchen cabinets that are now mine would have been tragically rusting away in a landfill somewhere! The cabinets may be over 60 years old, but the mere fact that they were still in use as recently as a few moths ago is proof that they are durable and of quality construction. David and Juliann are clearly very careful when selecting their inventory! Just as importantly, theirs is a very “green” eco-friendly business. In building my house, I want to use as many “re-purposed” elements as possible. In the kitchen, this includes recycled appliances that have been refurbished to adapt them to modern energy needs. So the re-purposed Youngstown metal cabinets will be in good company with my 1953 Kelvinator Foodarama refrigerator and my 1957 O’Keefe & Merritt gas stove! My kitchen will look like something from a 1950s issue of Architectural Digest but still be 100% functional. Too often, being eco-friendly means paying a high premium. But ReFind offers quality “green” products at a very affordable price. In fact, ReFind made the Youngstown cabinets available for far less than I would have paid at a warehouse store for cabinets of similar high quality. Most of all, David is "old school" customer service at its best. He went the extra mile to help me find someone local in San Diego to refinish the cabinets (I am in Palm Springs ... no one here could/would touch them). He even helped me disassemble them and transport them to the powder coater (including loading and unloading). I am always bemoaning how modern businesses not to care about customer satisfaction. David is "old school"! Outstanding customer service!”
