“Peggy Krapf listens to the home owner and puts together a landscape design plan that works well for our geography. She is very good incorporating the home owner's ideas and using existing plants in attempt to keep the budget under control. She is knowledgeable about plant species and was tremendously helpful with our exterior renovation. In addition, she knows most of the landscape/hardscape installers in our area and is able to match you up with the appropriate company who can deliver on the plan.”

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Sterling Landscapes on our total property, multi-year project. Sterling took the time to sit down initially with me and discuss my vision for the landscape. We discussed functionality of the space and the degree of maintenance and upkeep I wanted to provide. We discussed how the landscape needs may change not only by the season, but with the years to come. The outcome of the design and Phase I has been beyond my expectations. His use of color, texture, and seasonal variation throughout the space is wonderful. He also worked with us to provide ideas to phase in the landscaping to meet our budget. I look forward to Phase II and continuing our collaboration in the coming years!”

“Wild Works of Whimsy, LLC provided a detailed drawing of a new patio area with native plant recommendations for both that area and another that requires salt tolerant plants because of coastal storm flooding. WWW delivered all plants and we built a trellis, laid a stone patio and planted all plants. WWW delivered on everything as promised, and was great to work with, especially on concept and specifications. A very pleasant working relationship! And the plants are thriving!”

“As a homeowner in a housing association, I am required to keep my landscape to certain standards, and so I hired Custom Gardens to maintain my property on an "as needed" basis. I was never overcharged, in fact, the cost was very moderate considering the input of labour and know- how, and considering the artistic merit of the company. My hired landscaper was keen on the needs of the yard and was well educated in the native plants and their maintenance (as I encourage the use of native plantings and landscaping). And like any competent landscaper, she could rightly predict how certain trees and ground coverings would thrive in the long term. Three years later, I am impressed that my yard has stayed so well manicured and yet with such little effort on my part!
