“We had recently added a sunroom and needed some landscaping done in our backyard around the new room. We also decided to put in a patio adjacent to the sunroom. We have a slanted backyard, so we really needed advice on how to accomplish this. In addition, we needed a landscaper to work with us as the contractor finished our deck so everything would flow together. We had an idea of what we wanted, but were really looking for advice and recommendations. We talked to three different landscapers and decided to go with Western DuPage Landscaping. The designer, Nicole, had some great suggestions for our project and worked within the budget we gave her. She patiently explained the difference in pricing between the various pavers available and also recommended plants and shrubs that would grow in our very shaded backyard. Our project came in on budget and in the time frame given. We are very happy with the work done and would not hesitate to return to WDL for future work.”

“Greenhaven re-designed my small patio in 2012 with perennials that compliment the setting and my color preferences. They presented a draft design, in detail, including photos of the recommended plants placed in the suggested locations, so I knew exactly what was going where. Their landscapers are professionals, from design to implementation and upkeep. Dave Hoxsie or another manager was present during each visit to oversee the work and answer questions. Just look at their website to see the extent of their professionalism.”

“I had left a message for Sly & he returned my call within 24 hours! He squeezed me in as I just needed trimming done at my townhouse in West Lake subdivision because the landscapers there never get to residents for proper trimming. It did take a bit longer as Sly was training Issac but Issac did a fantastic job. I do feel I paid a bit more but then I just wanted it to get done as I was going to be getting company! They hauled trim waste away and left it pretty well cleaned up!”

“Martin John Company is an outstanding company to hire when you are considering new landscaping ideas, landscaping plans and the weekly maintenance. Several years ago we hired the Martin John Company to design a new landscaping plan for our house. We met with Marty and shared our vision, our likes for different plant materials and also defined our budget. In a short period of time Marty presented a beautiful hand drawn plan of what he was suggesting for our property. We made a few tweaks and moved forward with the plan. Every piece of plant material had a purpose and was carefully chosen and over the years the property continues to look better as the plants and trees mature. They even incorporated landscaping lights into the design plan which we love. To keep the beauty of what Martin John designed, we have hired them for our annual lawn service. From the spring clean up, fertilizing program and the weekly service, our yard looks amazing. If you want great personal service and a first class landscaping design, definitely call the Martin Jon Company.”
