“Hi Sam, We were wondering if you could stop by sometime soon and let us know what you would suggest for our front lawn. We should have used Structure Landscapes from the beginning and have regretted our decision! The other company might have been cheaper, but you get what you pay for!! We are trying to sell this house and build another one in the area, but when people see the front lawn it looks horrible It may just need to put in another bed to get rid of the rocky areas that won't grow, or maybe the sprinkler heads are just not adjusted correctly. Either way we would like to know what you suggest. Let us know when you can stop by. Thanks, Linda and John”

They answered all of my questions, were easy to work with, and most importantly, did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. Whenever I'm out working in my yard, the neighbors comment on how great it looks, and I've had many cars stop and ask me who did the work. I was so happy with both the process, and the final results, that I had them do my backyard landscaping last spring/summer. I was even MORE pleased with the results! I love it. “Marion and her crew were absolutely fantastic. Marion designed an extremely low maintenance landscaping plan and beautiful deck that we now practically live on. She really listened to what we wanted and came up with a great plan for us. The best part was that she didn't try to up sell us or overdo it in her design. She kept things simple and beautiful. The team was amazing and got the entire deck and landscaping done in a week, even working right after a hurricane! I highly recommend Waterloo. We couldn't be happier.”

“Becca & Carlos (Somos Design and Landscaping) were a delight to work with for many reasons, (3) of which I have highlighted below: 1. Their creations/designs are truly imaginative. There is "magical" quality to their work and they have the ability to take a clients vision and create something “uniquely unique”. 2. Professionalism and Craftsmanship from start to finish - they were consistent from the development of the concept to its' execution and eventual completion. Their projects are well-executed and the employees of SOMOS are equally delightful individuals to work with. 3. They are wonderful human beings who are easy to work with, communicate well, and have well-developed ability to create something inspired and visionary. Be advised - if your looking for someone to throw down sod and plant some bushes, this is likely the wrong outfit for you. If you are a creative individual looking for an original design with an artisans touch, their creative abilities warrant your consideration. We would HIGHLY recommend them.”

“Annie and her team did the landscape design and installation on a project we did the plans for. This builder and homeowner wanted our team to be assembled from the beginning so Annie attended a number of meetings in my office. Her comments were always relevant and appropriate to her field of expertise (not always the case with other consultants on other projects.) Even though much of the discussion was about details of the home that wouldn't affect Annie's work she was respectfully attentive and supportive of all the other members of the team all the way through the project. The lot in question was severely limited due to environmental concerns and we took up much of the allowable area for the home and driveway, leaving Annie very little to work with as far as hardscape goes. Additionally, there were retention and drainage issues that had to be addressed due to water quality concerns. Annie was extremely knowledgeable and she and her staff very capable with the very complex drainage mitigation issues. She also - completely graciously, without a single complaint - worked with what our work left her and made the best of it. She substituted a clever rainwater collection bladder for the cistern we had originally planned and otherwise found ways to make her landscape design work. She is a genius. She incorporated things the owners already owned with new things she helped them find. My favorite is a beautiful fountain on an important sight line from inside the house and also visible (and providing peaceful sound) as you approach the home. My first view of the finished landscape was when we arrived pre-dawn to take photography of the home. The approach to the front door was absolutely enchanting. The home was featured on the Cool House Tour in Austin and I found myself directing people to the serene and beautiful landscape frequently. It was a great experience working with Annie and Botanical Concerns!”
