“I was planning on building a shed for many months, then as we got closer to the end of summer i thought "well lets see what lowes has to offer." upon looking i was not impressed. Im in no way a home builder, and granted this was just a shed, but quality of components used was very under par. It would be great if you just needed it to last a couple years but for the money, it didnt add up. it was priced as if it would last longer than a home. regardless i thought back to my original idea and i would just build one. with cooler weather getting closer and closer a friend recommended us to check out Black Bear Barns, he claimed he had one that was 10 years old and still looked new. So we went out on a sunday, so we could be discrete. Prices were labeled and literally only a few hundred more than if i built it myself. So we pulled the trigger! when i paid them i was even more shocked that the labeled price of our 10x12 even included TAX. i saw the price and was ready for a couple hundred in tax but was overly happy that it was not only cheaper than lowes, better built, delivered, set up, and tax included. when it comes to a shed i will never go anywhere else.”
