“Amazing ability to listen to our likes/dislikes and put together a doable project. We did a complete remodel of the kitchen, bath and dining area - to the exterior walls, ceiling and floors. We stopped at the "Big Box Stores" and weren't happy with their knowledge and ability to vision a solution. Building an addition was not an option yet Denna was able to present solutions for our wants: tile walk-in shower with glass door, oversize fridge, new cabinets with soft close features and quality products. We don't even have to seal our tile grout. She worked well with the contractors, was responsive to our questions and fixed any small issue immediately. We wouldn't change one thing!!!!!”

I photograph thousands of homes/buildings/rooms each year, so I see a wide range of styles and quality. I was immediately impressed with the overall layout, color choices and lighting of this kitchen, plus Lena was very easy to work with on a professional level. “Patrick listens carefully to people to understand what they are trying to do, and then he applies his extensive architectural experience to helping them turn their ideas into reality. We wanted to expand our 100 year old house while maintaining its character, and Patrick showed us good and bad examples of additions that had been done by others in our historic neighborhood in Corning. His design for the addition complemented our existing house without overpowering it. We received an award from the neighborhood association for the addition, thanks to Patrick's design. Patrick did a great job for us, and we enjoyed working with him.”

“I hired design Tec to do a complete kitchen and dining room demolition and renovation. The quoted prices were accurate and fair and there was no cost overruns. This was a kitchen remodel of a 60 year old home, so basically everything was taken down to the bare studs and rebuilt up to modern building codes. Dwain and his team always arrived on time and kept me well informed of progress, status updates, etc. Even better, after the job was completed, about 6 months later we had a minor issue with a wood cabinet door warping. Dwain personally handled the warranty repair with the cabinet maker, and replaced the door in a timely matter. All I had to do was make one call to Design Tec, and they handled it. Support after the job is done is so important. Many contractors will take the money and run, but Design Tec stood behind their work and made me a very satisfied customer. Needless to say, my new kitchen is amazing! From the ceiling cabinet mounding to the new wood flooring they installed, everything is high end quality and have had no issues since. I would sincerely recommend Dwain and Design Tec for a remodel.”

“I had an idea what I wanted to do with our old bathroom space, it was a total gut job. Went to Main St Kitchen and Baths and they helped up redeisgn our old bathroom and gave great ideas for updating and making the most of our space. We also purchased our cabinets, countertop, and sink bowl from them. The bathroom turned out beautiful.”

“The Donahoe group designed our beautiful home. Seven years later they designed a downstair space for out of town guests, and now we have hired them for a garden room design. Why do we keep coming back? It's plain and simple, they take my ideas and turn them into something special! From start to finish it is Always a positive experience. Now the next generation in our family is a customer. Our son is having his house designed by the Donahoe group.”

“Mr. Long took an old 1830s bank barn and made it into our home. The result is a 3,500 sq ft home that overlooks Seneca Lake in the New York State Finger Lakes region. Dan used many windows in his plan and almost every room has a view of the lake. Dan is an innovative and dynamic architect. He has a very wonderful personal style that brought our needs and desires to the forefront in his architectural plans. One could not help to notice that he is very versed in the latest building methods and materials. He does very well with cost estimates and worked with with us to provide varied courses of action so we might be better informed as to our options. Overall, our observation is that Dan Long is a true professional who treats each client and project as special no matter how big or small the job. I highly recommend Dan Long to any prospective client.”
