“Tyler Jones is one of the best General Contractor I have worked with. He and his crew have the knowledge of construction and applicable building codes to complete projects. I am a civil engineer with 35 years of experience in this field and I met Tyler in one of the projects my company designed. He is the most hones, trustworthy, respectful young contractor, with incredible insight of how the construction is progressing, foreseeing any issue well in advance and then coordinating with the engineer to resolve them. “Blue Horse Building is a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and well-managed construction company that we were happy to have worked with. So happy that we've already teamed up with them again for our next project. They truly embody a team effort and mentality that strengthens the architect-contractor relationship. This project was new construction restrained by a dramatic site as the house sat at the edge of a bluff overlooking the lake. Our team fought for every inch of the footprint to provide a fully programmed house, and throughout the process, Blue Horse Building offered tactful suggestions that met our design aesthetic. “Christy designed the kitchen, bathroom and closet for my remodel, as well as much much more. Working on the layout, functionality and esthetics. She is intuative, creative and extremely talented. She listened and understood what I wanted and then improved upon that vision dramatically creating a flawless and beautiful result. Working with her was a wonderful experience and I would hire her again with out a second thought. She won a few CotY awards with this project and it was well deserved!”

“The Katz Builders team is very professional. We have worked on dozens of projects together over a span of over 25 years (my firm draws the plans and Katz does the construction) and every one of my clients who has used Katz for the construction project has been very pleased with quality, professionalism and service. The level of personal attention and care they provide is unparalleled. In one remodel, for instance, they painstakingly removed the original wood casing from doors and reinstalled it after the remodel was finished. Their tile installer did my own floors and I was extremely impressed with how carefully he and his lead installer planned the layout to make sure that the tile was centered on several different axes as well as ensuring no small slivers of tile at edges and other subtle things I would never have noticed had they done it incorrectly. If something "doesn't seem right" about plans we have provided, the Katz team always call to make sure they get it right rather than "winging it" in the field risking misinterpretation of our intent. They have used many of the same sub-contractors the entire time I have known them which means to me that they have loyal sub-contractors and you will get consistent and high quality results from them. And, once again, I want to mention that in all these years I have not once had a homeowner come back to me and complain about them as their builder. That is very rare in this business.”

“We hired Janet to help us design our home on Lake Travis. She was an absolute delight to work with throughout the entire process. I am one of those clients that has a very specific idea of what I want. And Janet is one of those designers that actually listens to what the client has in mind, and then helps them make it even better. She wan't creating her idea of our perfect home, she was helping us create our vision for our home. She was timely and professional, but also has a great sense of humor. Probbably the only negative thing anyone could say about her is that she is a work-a-holic...because she truly loves what she does! Would I hire her again? Absolutely! When a remodeling project recently came up she was the first person that I called. I would recommend her again and again.”

“I worked with Karolina using her services twice for big renovation projects. She transformed 2 apartments in very poor condition to cute places to rent - they were my 2 investments properties. Everything was designed with a limited budget and came out fantastic. She and her team took care of the project from A to Z from conceptualization, realization, material and furnishing selection to property rental. European spaces are limited and to contain everything within a small surface is a skill. If you need a perfect floor plan they are certainly the best. My goal was to add value to the apartment, rent it for several years and eventually sell it. Excellent service if you want to add value to rental properties and any property, they can do magic with limited budgets. Space optimization is their strongest point”

“Spaces Designed took the lead on a bathroom project for us. This was a small non descript second bath. Their design ideas turned it into a bath that I am proud to have people see and use. Beautiful combinations of tiles, mirror, color and fixtures. Hard to believe it's the same bath. Komal has a real talent for color and textures.”
