At our first meeting she gave us an idea of the scope of the projects she has accomplished and the fee structure. She really listened to our ideas and concerns for our kitchen renovation. Karen presented 3 visions for our renovation, one with exactly what we asked for and then two other options. The third design presented involved moving our kitchen and creating an open floor plan. This was beyond anything we could have imagined o our own and made the best use of the space and our renovation dollars. We are currently under construction but Karen is readily available to answer questions and make edits to the design. “We inherited a 1970's "avocado green" galley kitchen. We did the best we could with simple homeowner improvements (replaced appliances, etc) but finally had to do a remodel. After interviewing several design/build firm, with went with Anthony Wilder.
They created a design within our budget, and made some important safety upgrades that previous contractors had done incorrectly. We took out an interior wall and bumped out the back wall. We bought new high-end applicances, custom cabinets and installed hardwood floors. We also added a lovely back patio. The AWDB employees supervised every step of the remodel and made sure we were 100% satisfied.
We love our new kitchen! It's been over 2 years and we still get compliments on its design and its beauty. Best of all, the total design and craftsmanship has greatly increased the value of our home.”

“Erika is truly talented. We hired her to update and remodel the kitchen, living room, bathrooms and foyer in our recently purchased home. We immediately knew that we were in good hands. She took the time to ask the right questions and really listen to my husband and I as we described what what most important to us. Her designs maximized space, minimized unnecessary expense and transformed our house (built in the 1980's) into a fresh and modern home. When it came time to decorate, she selected furniture and accents that fit our design aesthetic and more importantly our lifestyle. I certainly have a taste for the finer things, but with a dog and a baby, we wanted to make sure that we were smart and economical with our purchases.
