Carved Custom Cabinets
Primarily Alhambra carving pattern. This was a 1928 vintage home on the Riviera in Santa Barbara, Ca. The painted white cabinets in the kitchen were at odds with the elegant style of the home ~ generic and boring ~ transformed by an elegant complete reface in Spanish Colonial Revival style including crown mouldings and stove hood trim. Artisan carved with fine furniture finish created to match the flare and style of the owner's taste.
What an amazing transformation!
This kitchen blended 2 panel designs out of a choice of 15 door styles spanning carving patterns from simple to complex. All with a wide range of elegant, buttery finishes from Miel (honey) to the medium walnut finish pictured here. Surprisingly reasonable price points for an upper end personalized cabinet.

Normandy Remodeling
Normandy Designer Vince Weber, worked closely with the homeowners to create an open and spacious floorplan with timeless beauty and appeal. “The existing kitchen was isolated from the rest of the house,” says Weber. “One of the redesign goals of the homeowners was to tie the kitchen with the living room to create a ‘living kitchen’ that would function as the central gathering space for the family.” The resulting design paired timeless colors and classic inset cabinetry to give the kitchen a casual elegance. The island was designed to feel like a furniture piece, which creates a visual divide between functioning kitchen, and the informal eating and living space.

Bassett Furniture
The design inspiration for Commonwealth was the neoclassic furniture of Sweden in the late 18th century, often referred to as Gustavian design. Gustavian pieces interpreted the French neoclassical style elements into a simplified yet elegant form.
The pared down styling, modest scale and fresh finishes give these pieces broad appeal. Commonwealth is constructed of Elm veneers and Asian hardwood solids and features 3 finishes that increases its flexibility: Tobacco (medium brown with gray undertones, lightly distressed), Peppermill (translucent black that allows the grain to show through, lightly distressed), and Toasted Almon (pale taupe painted finish, heavily distressed with visible brush strokes for added textural appeal). The hardware features an Antiqued Pewter finish. Available in Twin, Full, Queen, King, and Cal King.

A master bedroom with an ocean inspired, upscale hotel atmosphere. The soft blues, creams and dark woods give the impression of luxury and calm. Soft sheers on a rustic iron rod hang over woven grass shades and gently filter light into the room. Rich painted wood panel molding helps to anchor the space. A reading area adorns the bay window and the antique tray table offers a worn nautical motif. Brass fixtures and the rough hewn dresser remind one of the sea. Artwork and accessories also lend a coastal feeling.

We transformed this room from an outdated southwest style space to this elegant Spanish style living room. The fireplace was redesigned and an arched passage to the dining was added to better define the spaces. The balance of materials that help create this space are the old world terra cotta tiles, smooth plaster walls, hand carved stone fireplace and rough wood stained ceiling.

Renaissance Kitchen and Home
This beautiful 2 story kitchen remodel was created by removing an unwanted bedroom. The increased ceiling height was conceived by adding some structural columns and a triple barrel arch, creating a usable balcony that connects to the original back stairwell and overlooks the Kitchen as well as the Greatroom. This dramatic renovation took place without disturbing the original 100yr. old stone exterior and maintaining the original french doors above the balcony.
