Aquas and golds used work well with the walls of windows showing foliage from the outside. . Organic gold trunks used as small tables and gold dyed skin rug give this study an eclectic feel. Sheer window treatments add an extra dimension to this lovely room. Photography by Robert Brantley.

An existing house was deconstructed to make room for 7200 SF of new ground up construction including a main house, pool house, and lanai. This hillside home was built through a phased sequence of extensive excavation and site work, complicated by a single point of entry. Site walls were built using true dry stacked stone and concrete retaining walls faced with sawn veneer. Sustainable features include FSC certified lumber, solar hot water, fly ash concrete, and low emitting insulation with 75% recycled content.

Edwardian Corner Home Office: With design styles and architectural elements reminiscent of early 20th century England, this sophisticated design provides the perfect office solution. Marrying Old World style with modern convenience, the bottom right side of the desk slides open (away from knee hole) to reveal 3 drawers and a CPU tower compartment. The left side has one file drawer and two additional drawers. The keyboard drawer flips down and pulls out. Both the CPU and desktop include wiring grommets and the unit also has a built-in five-outlet surge protector with remote switch. The top area includes adjustable and permanent shelving, 3 lights, as well as lighting above the desktop and top shelf. Available in a variety of finish options as well as both 8’ and 9’ heights. In addition, this design may be customized. © 2010 Habersham Home. All Rights Reserved

Command Central: This room is the renovated home office that was once a small guest room. It is right off the kitchen on the main floor, so it made a great location for the family home office. The cabinetry is the same style and color as the kitchen so one room flows nicely with the next. The countertop is a warm grey limestone with shells and fossils appearing in the stone. The wall behind the desk and in between the wall cabinets is covered with a tack board that is then covered with a burlap material. The deep drawers to the left make a perfect location for long rolls of wrapping paper.

StudioBecker
The transformation of this high-rise condo in the heart of San Francisco was literally from floor to ceiling. Studio Becker custom built everything from the bed and shoji screens to the interior doors and wall paneling...and of course the kitchen, baths and wardrobes!
It’s all Studio Becker in this master bedroom - teak light boxes line the ceiling, shoji sliding doors conceal the walk-in closet and house the flat screen TV. A custom teak bed with a headboard and storage drawers below transition into full-height night stands with mirrored fronts (with lots of storage inside) and interior up-lit shelving with a light valance above. A window seat that provides additional storage and a lounging area finishes out the room.
Teak wall paneling with a concealed touchless coat closet, interior shoji doors and a desk niche with an inset leather writing surface and cord catcher are just a few more of the customized features built for this condo.
This Collection M kitchen, in Manhattan, high gloss walnut burl and Rimini stainless steel, is packed full of fun features, including an eating table that hydraulically lifts from table height to bar height for parties, an in-counter appliance garage in a concealed elevation system and Studio Becker’s electric Smart drawer with custom inserts for sushi service, fine bone china and stemware.
Combinations of teak and black lacquer with custom vanity designs give these bathrooms the Asian flare the homeowner’s were looking for.

This 1920's era home had seen better days and was in need of repairs, updates and so much more. Our goal in designing the space was to make it functional for today's families. We maximized the ample storage from the original use of the room and also added a ladie's writing desk, tea area, coffee bar, wrapping station and a sewing machine. Today's busy Mom could now easily relax as well as take care of various household chores all in one, elegant room.
