“Chris developed our home plans for construction. He was creative and showed excellent skill as an architect. He delivered exactly what we were looking for, and was willing to work with our Builder to accept minor recommendations which enhanced the overall construction cost. His 3-D modeling system was very helpful to visualize just how the rooms will fit together. His pricing was fair and we are very happy customers. I would definitely work with him again.”

James brings to the table a great deal of experience in both residential and commercial arenas, although my experience has been limited to residential applications. While he is fully capable of creating an independent design vision for a project, he, more importantly, has the ability to LISTEN closely to the desires of the client and allow their own vision to help drive the process. Some architects want to tell you what you want. James wants the final product to reflect your unique personality. Great architect and person.”

“I went to Scott after buying what should have been a tear down in Nashville's historic Belmont area. Knowing the house falls within the Historic District we knew we'd have a number of hurdles to jump to keep in their good graces while at the same time creating a showplace. We faced a number of challenges, not least of which was we had a tiny footprint, we wanted more square footage but we also wanted to respect the neighbors and not "overbuild". Scott listened to what we wanted... then turned his eye to design a house that not only exceeded expectations, but won two national awards from Qualified Remodeler! Scott Wilson Architect, LLC quite deservedly gets HIGH marks all around!!!”

Home Design Works had been highly recommended to us by a local builder. They certainly did not disappoint. Matt Lawler took time to completely understand our lifestyle, needs and desires for our home (functionally and aesthetically). Our project presented unique challenges with property setback limitations. His creative architectural ideas, vision and experience were indispensable in making our dream become reality while working within the constraints of our property. We are now living in our recently transformed home and could not be happier with what we have ended up with.”
