“As new house owners, we left a condo living and decided to move into a house. We ultimately decided to purchase an older house and customize it to our tastes and needs. I had used Houzz.com to source some architects to help us out. We found Robert and a few others but it was Robert that accompanied me to house inspection for one and then also accompanied me to view the house we ended up purchasing. From start to finish, he was there. We utilized Houzz.com albums to collect photos and ideas to share so he could get a better sense of our needs and wants. He managed pretty much everything from the contractors to the purchasing of items. He also has a great eye for detail so when he conducted the final walk (we were traveling) and approved it, I didn't worry about him missing anything. As new home owners new to renovation, we did go over budget and in the end, we did have to omit some of the items/detailing that we wanted which was frustrating but Robert provided us alternatives so that we could discuss and decide. In the end, with the budget issue and not having the home 100% to what we wanted, we are still very happy with the project. People who have seen the home before are amazed at the results. We are very happy to have found Robert. As non-creative home owners who have never renovated a home, we would have never come up with some of the concepts he produced. He enabled us to customize this house enough that it meets our aesthetic and functional needs. Robert is very diligent and detailed. I think he may have been too detailed for us (ha) but as a result of me giving in to him, we have a stand out master bathroom. I view our home a great learning experience into the area of renovation. I now have Robert to use as a standard.”

“We hired David to design a complete re-build of a small bungalow cottage in Stone Harbor, NJ. Our decision was based on some very impressive homes he designed on the island, as well as excellent references from past clients. David's charge was challenging - design a classic shore cottage with a strong attention to architectural detail and lots of functionality in a very small space (while staying within budget). David more than exceeded expectations. The project was completed in 2012, and the house is fabulous!! It was selected by a local charity for its annual fundraising tour of distinctive homes. To this day we are still receiving compliments from passers-by whenever we sit out on the front porch. David was a pleasure to work with - always good-natured and accommodating - and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the design - including (but not limited to) exterior roofing and siding, interior woodwork, bathrooms, kitchen, and lighting.”

“We worked with Samantha to design and reconfigure our master suite. From start to finish, Sam was super pleasant to work with, and went above and beyond to insure that we were happy with our project. Sam was a great listener and communicator and incorporated all of our wishes into her design, while introducing us to new innovative ideas. She helped with the selection of all materials, worked seamlessly with our contractor and designer, and gave great attention to detail. Our end result is an amazing master bedroom and bath suite which we are enjoying immensely. I highly recommend Sam and would use her again in the future without hesitation.”

“I have been delighted with the results of two projects where I used Suzanne's services. The first was a family room remodel with new built-ins, fireplace surround, lighting, flooring and furniture. The second was a master bath remodel with large custom shower, double vanity, new tile and flooring, cabinetry, lighting and dressing area. Suzanne is a pleasure to work with, detail oriented and a great problem solver. She is great at space planning and has a wonderful flair for color. “We live in an old farm house that was added on to many years ago. That addition was poorly built, poorly planned, falling apart, and needed to be torn down in favor of a new addition. Andy really listened when we described what we were trying to achieve with the new addition. His design matched the old farm house perfectly and we couldn't be happier with the result. Our house now looks like a classic old farm house but has modern amenities that make it a great livable space for our family.”

“Joe Mackin and his firm designed us the most beautiful new house. He designed an 1800's style, stone farm house look that is amazing. The attention to detail is incredible. People have been to the house and can't decide if it's just an old house that was added on to, or a new house. We have worked with a handful of architects over the years, and Joe, by far, has been the BEST. We also did not use a builder, my husband an were the general contractors of the house, which is approximately 7,000 sq. feet.”
