We have a Victorian house and I was looking for period-appropriate tiles, and came across her William DeMorgan dragon, part of her mythical beast collection. We now have quite a number of her dragons and mythical beast tiles it in our kitchen. The backsplash is an amazing conversation piece, because they're not only beautiful, high quality tiles, but they're each really interesting as well. People who come over always comment and choose favorites. It's fun, and it suits the house and our personalities. While we were doing the project, I contacted her repeatedly about grout colors, sealant brands, her opinions on field tile--you name it--and she was always friendly and professional and truly invested in the project coming out as beautifully as possible. She's very knowledgeable and really interested in the tiles she creates, and she has a sense of whimsy, which I really appreciate.”
