“We were fortunate to discover Linda Mayne's stunning work via social media --a "tweet" announcing a showing of her work at the prestigious Roche BoBois in San Francisco. We'd seen one of her colorful paintings at an open house in Marin county, and so we'd been wanting to see more. At the open house, her art truly was the centerpiece of the room, drawing the eye with its color-rich drama. It had the same effect at Roche BoBois. Her palette, which varied from soothing creamy pastels to vivid reds and purples, fit every scenario beautifully. We're trying to decide whether to go with the pastel "Wildfyre" fantasy or the striking "Red Sun." This is one artist to follow.”

“In 2013, I took on the overwhelming task of remodeling my kitchen. This was no simple remodel - we gutted, moved walls, and fully reconfigured. By the time I got to thinking about finishes, I was so exhausted by the other decisions I'd made (layout, function, etc) that I knew I needed serious help. Here enters Quail Decor, and Jessica! I hired Jessica to do virtual color consultation (her being a west-coaster, me an east-coaster), including but not limited to selection of wall color paint, counters, cabinet finish, cabinet knobs/pulls, flooring, and appliance consideration. Basically, anything that wasn't behind the walls! I'll cut to the chase: Jessica and Quail Decor were professional, prompt, flexible, understanding, patient, and most importantly we achieved EXACTLY the look I had in my mind's eye, but could never articulate all that well. We were very successful in working virtually and used a process where I would select my top two or three options in finishes, send Jessica photos and ask her to help guide me. This process allowed me to feel in control of what I wanted, allowed Jessica to get an idea of my style, but then offered the opportunity for her to give me other options that may work better - and actually ALWAYS worked better! Jessica has a well trained eye that can spot a shade of peach in something that looks brown to an untrained eye, and she uses this skill direct you gently into areas you wouldn't normally consider. Budget is always a factor, and I NEVER felt like Quail Decor was pushing me into a higher price range for the sake of design. She respected my style, respected the time period my home was built in, but still got me something universally beautiful. Overall, would highly recommend, and actually have he lined up to help with a small project to freshen up my living room.”
