“I initially reached out to Bryan to inquire about help rebuilding our deck. We had planned to meet a few weeks later, but a rainstorm caused major leaking in our living room. I texted Bryan and he came right over - traveling across town - and brought an employee to assess the situation. They quickly determined the issue was with the roof and even went up to place a tarp to prevent further damage. Bryan also left us with a carpet dryer and walked us through how to remove the damaged carpet and padding so the subfloor could dry properly. During that process, we discovered there was significant long-term damage to the subfloor. At that point, we decided to shift priorities and move forward with remodeling the first floor instead of rebuilding the deck. Throughout the project, Bryan and his team were attentive and helpful. They addressed wet exterior siding and insulation, helped us select new flooring, and provided input on our fireplace tile choices. They were also very flexible and supportive of the fact that we wanted to complete some portions of the remodel ourselves while they handled the rest. While we were away, they removed all the old flooring in our home and discovered an additional area of subfloor damage on the other side of the house, which they repaired. They also identified water damage around our doors and told us they needed to be replaced before they could finish the flooring installation. Since we were not physically present, Bryan helped us source doors that fit our needs. When we returned home, there were a couple of issues we noticed, including a section of grout that had cracked and a register cover that did not fit into the new flooring properly. Bryan has already committed to coming out to fix those items. Bryan works with specialized contractors for different aspects of the job. One highlight was the stucco work on our replacement siding. We live in a townhouse, so matching color and texture was critical, and the stucco contractor did an absolutely perfect job. That was really impressive. One thing to note is that the price for specialized subcontractors is higher when going through Bryan, as there is a percentage added to the rate. We would have paid less by hiring certain specialists directly. However, Bryan did ensure that the people working on our project were among the best in their specialty area. Their overall pricing is on the higher side, and the project moved more slowly after the initial emergency, likely because our job was small compared to some of their other projects. That said, this really felt like a “you get what you pay for” situation. Since this is our home, we were comfortable paying a bit more for the peace of mind that the work was done properly. When we had an emergency, Bryan and his team responded immediately, and we truly appreciated that level of urgency. Overall, Bryan delivers quality work, has a reliable network of specialists, and is very responsive in urgent situations.”

“I'll preface this by saying the backyard work we had done was the biggest project we've committed to since becoming homeowners 12 years ago. We went into the process a little intimidated and stressed but those things were quickly alleviated after meeting with Caleb. As far as structures go, our backyard consisted of grass, minor landscaping, and a wooden deck we were oh so tired of maintaining and repairing. Once the thought of switching to composite popped into our head things quickly snowballed. Our intention was to tear down the deck, make it a little smaller, and move to composite. We also wanted to add a little bit of concrete for a firepit, seating, and grilling. A hot tub was on the bucket list too. We met with five companies. Creative Concepts wasn't the least or most expensive but right in the middle. What sold us was Caleb offering his suggestions and vision versus all others just going along with what we (as first time renovators) thought we wanted. We loved Caleb's plan of cutting cost in some areas and extending a concrete area for a potential hot tub. It was too perfect not to jump in on! The deck came out beautifully with the added privacy wall. Even during the deck build we had a couple small things to change and it was no issue. The concrete work was completed first, only needing to fill in a spot once the deck was finished. In the end we got everything we wanted and things we didn't even know we needed until speaking to Caleb. I can't honestly list out a single con. To that point the only thing I'd say is if you've never had concrete work done, be prepared to do some yard/grass rehab afterwards. The process can certainly tear things up with the machinery required. The photos I've added are before landscaping has been done. That will take some time and I'll update once it's completed. I'd recommend Caleb, Brent, and Aaron all day every day.”
