“We purchased these beautiful custom made Black Walnut shelves for the half bathroom of our home. We received the shelves already cut to the size we requested and sanded down/shaped for us. The awesome thing about KC Custom Hardwoods is they will do all the work/finishing's for you, or they will do all the hard work and then allow you to make them your own.. I personally wanted to stain & buy the hardware myself so KC Custom Hardwoods gave their suggestions on what to stain them with, and where to find the best deal on the piping we used. Their knowledge and passion for their work is irreplaceable. We will definitely purchase from them again.”

“Nick did a wonderful job updating my kitchen. Nick built a custom island and painted all of the cabinets, a rich, modern white and it looks brand new! The island included (a) custom design to accommodate the current plumbing location that created a challenge for the new island location, (b) notched interior features that received compliments from our plumber and granite contractor because they provided structural support and made it easier for them to do their job and (c) installed metal supports to accommodate a sizable granite overhang. Nick seems passionate about doing great work and is the only contractor that took his shoes off in our house. This may seem like a small item, but he was very careful to not damage my hardwood floors during installation, was very neat, etc. and all of the work was completed within the agreed upon time frame. I would definitely work with Nick again”

“The owner of this boutique offered me awesome decorating ideas and always has lots of things in her boutique to satisfy anyone's taste in decor. I would highly recommend stopping in or calling the owner for any decorating items you are looking for or need assistance with, she is always happy to help you find what you are looking for! When building our new home I of course needed new decorations and whenever I stopped in she had something unique for my home! You can't go wrong using Not Too Shabby Boutique!”

Immediately upon your logging onto the website, or, if lucky enough, you have the opportunity to walk through the doors of this wonderful store in quaint DeSoto, Kansas, you will be immersed in the beauty of the wonderful selections, hand-picked, and often, designed by owner Mary Lies. There is color and texture everywhere. The genuine Italian antiques are incredibly rich in design. The dinnerware and bakeware designed by Mary, and created in Italy, are at once authentic in motif, and beautiful. The rich colors are representative of true Italian design. Mary's Italian heritage has afforded her a passionate expertise that makes Mercato very unique. Mary enthusiastically shares her in-depth knowledge, often accompanied by special stories, about the beautiful items in her store. As an interior designer, it is wonderful for me to be able to share this information with my clients. “Steve was great to work with when he did the interior design on my vacation home in Scottsdale. It was a real fixer upper, and Steve transformed it into a gracious home with a motif reminiscent of colonial Spain in the New World yet with all the comforts of the Modern World. Every time I open the front door and step in, I know I am home and love to chill out in the comfort of the Southwest. Steve has designed 2 primary homes and a vacation home for me over the past 20 years and each job surpassed my expectations! He has an innate ability to keep the project on schedule while watching the bottom line. It's always been a total pleasure and I look forward to the next time.”

“Not only is Unruh Furniture's craftsmanship a welcome addition to our home, but their personal touches, both with the furniture and with their customer service in general, exceed what is typical for the marketplace. They constructed two pieces for me, both with certain specifications that I requested which were nuances he had not done before but he eagerly jumped into customizing my pieces specifically the way that I asked for them and he matched my request precisely. “We always have a wonderful experience at A & M. It is a locally owned and operated furniture store in Overland Park, KS. The staff is always friendly, knowledgable and helpful. “We purchased a reclaimed timber mantle from Beaver Timber, Inc. The sales team personally took us out to look at all the timber options. They have many varieties of wood to choose from. We selected a gorgeous piece of walnut. They then cut it to the desired size. They have staining/finishing capabilities and some of the finished pieces we saw looked amazing. My husband does this type of work, so we finished it ourselves, but we could not be happier with the finished product. I highly recommend Beaver Timber!”

“I bought a coffee table with built I'm speakers, amp, and turntable from paul. What really had me excited before I purchased it was the presentation. It was sitting in front of some couches, playing a killer record, and demanding attention. It was sleek, functioning, and had an amazing color scheme, with elaborate and colorful patterns on the front and back panels. As a record collector and dj, I'm always on the look out to find a all in one player that fits the aesthetic of my apartment better than huge shiny dj decks. This had everything and then some. There was also a huge x-factor in my purchase. Talking to Paul himself. I was living next door at the time and didn't know much about his studio. He was very friendly, extremely knowledgable about his craft, and made me feel right at home. If you haven't meet him or seen his studio I highly recommend both. I haven't found anyone mixing functionality and vintage aesthetic quite like him. Also everything's a ONE OF A KIND. Nobody on this earth has the same coffee table as me, and I love that.”
