“We like working with Sandy for a number of reasons. First, she asks your budget so she knows what she can work with and there won’t be any big surprises. If she does press the budget envelop a little, it’s often a good idea and gives us something to think about. Sandy is willing to work with things we have such as large furniture pieces, antiques, family heirlooms, and especially our artwork. In fact, she built a whole room around the colors in one piece of artwork in our family room. When she presents ideas, she often has three different but realistic recommendations. This gives us the feeling that she listened and really worked on our behalf. Finally, if there is a problem with something delivered, she is all over it to make it right. “I have used Abernathy's to completely furnish two of my houses. Not only were their prices fantastic, but you will not get better service or deal with friendlier people anywhere! They were so helpful in organizing all of the rooms, gave great suggestions and they delivered exactly on time as well. I was able to furnish both of my homes with just using Abernathy's which was a excellent time saver. They had everything I needed and they even did some special ordering for me, which they made very easy and smooth. I highly recommend using Abernathy's Home Furnishing for all your cabin or home needs, they are the absolute best at what they do and their prices are fantastic!!”

“Town & Country Furniture offer a wide variety of furniture and appliances. Whether we have needed a new couch, picture, or bed they always have exactly what we need. We wanted to redo our living room and wanted the couch to have reclining ends but not look like a recliner. We had limited space so it was a challenge. After looking at different items and measuring different couches and combinations, the staff showed us a couch we had admired but didn't realize it actually reclined on the ends. It was a beautiful leather tooled sofa. The staff then helped us to find a chair and picture to complete our look.”

“O. P. Jenkins is hands down the best furniture store in Knoxville. Many times I have been looking for a particular piece for either myself, our company, or one of our kids. To be fair, we go to numerous furniture stores and nothing comes close to my taste except at O.P. Jenkins. Their showroom is gorgeous and they carry the most well-made and beautiful pieces around. Then to top it off, their prices are no higher than most of the stores. Actually, they are better prices for the quality.”

“A little off the beaten track, we had to search for Grand Furniture, but after finding it we were thrilled. This is not your fancy furniture showplace, it is more rugged and dark like an old warehouse. Since you pay for the fancy and pricey showrooms, we would rather save the money and shop with friendly people who go out of their way to be helpful. We arrived with oxygen and inability to navigate stairs, but NO problem for them. They showed us to their docking area where we could hop on the freight elevator up to the furniture area. Again, so accommodating to us and helpful in finding just what we needed. We purchased a power recliner sofa exactly like the one we already found in another "fancy" store and their price was less than HALF what the other stores quoted us! We also found a bargain on a small dresser for our guest bedroom and an end table that was perfect for the spot next to our new sofa. We also found the match for our headboard in a nightstand for our guest room. Again, all of the pieces we found were a fantastic price and for name brand furniture. These are NOT seconds or "cheap" furniture pieces. We were thrilled and Grand Furniture will be the first place we look for furniture next time we are in need of anything. Our only regret was that we did not know they existed and we drove into Knoxville and spent twice as much for the same items we could have obtained at Grand Furniture. We won't make that mistake again. Love this place and the friendly family who run it and care about their customers.”
