“Project #1 with Trelli: June 2017 We had Trelli come in to renew the backyard living space. They removed the old deck, replaced it with a small balcony platform and a large 400sq foot stone patio. In the front of the house, the wooden landing platform was removed and also replaced with stone with an inset garden. Trelli has meticulous staff, always courteous, and a solid work ethic. The entire project fell within budget and estimates. The Trelli team always maintained a clean and safe worksite. They were always available for questions, and always took the time - every day - to explain the different steps of the project. They did offer options that we had not though of originally - like the sunken garden. It looks fantastic. Thank you for all your work. (Note: We have engaged Trelli to rebuild our driveway as our 2nd project with them) Project #2 with Trelli: July 2018 Trelli had done a great job last year on our back patio, balcony and front patio, greatly improving our outdoor living space. This year, we decided to engage Trelli to tackle our aging driveway. Our original plan was to have a very basic, rudimentary driveway, since we only park cars on it. After consulting with the guys, they came up with a really nice design that accentuated the property and complemented the design elements of last years project. The back patio now flows into the new driveway, which in turn flows cleanly into the front patio and sunken garden. The guys removed the original driveway, only to discover that the original underlying base was non-existent. They dug out a significant quantity of loose dirt and replaced with (I believe) 50 tons of crushed rock to ensure the driveway surface would be solid. Their work is quite meticulous, ensuring the integrity of the yard, house and the new patio they installed last year. The stone driveway looks fantastic and integrates perfectly with the 2 patios and walkway. As always, the Trelli guys were maintained a clean worksite, were very courteous and took the time to explain all the project elements to ensure we were aligned on all the deliverables. Their price was fair and they respected the estimates and our budget. We did make some project modifications and additions. These changes were fully documented and priced fairly. Trelli also took advantage of the time they were here to look at what they installed last year and make some improvements. We could see that the team has great synergy. The second project was a total make over of the main bathroom. We could not have asked for better contactors and workers. They designed both projects taking in consideration our wishes, ideas and budget. The work was excellent and it was done rapidly and efficiently. They were very well organized. At the end of the day, they would leave the place clean. Through the renovation, they keep us informed of the progress and the next step to be. “We had Justice add 600 square feet including basement to our living room and kitchen including gutting the existing 50 year old kitchen and rebuilding the kitchen completely. It also included blending the old living room drywall, flooring and lighting to match to old part of the living room to the new living room. They did all of the work, I was only involved with making day to day decisions with them, choosing finishing materials etc. We lived in the house at the same time, they were very courteous in blending in with our lifestyle and doing the construction work. We designed everything using a simple CAD software and used that as a basis for the contract. They made a lot of good suggestions by getting involved with the basic design. They took every effort to keep the dust to a minimum and removed all construction debris on a daily bases which kept the yard and interior as clean as physically possible. We landed up renovating 2/3 of the house. They brought construction material on an as need basis so there wasn’t a lot of material sitting for long periods of time. My experience with this contractor has been very positive. Paul gave us a quote for the complete job and stuck to the cost. We did upgrade material and changed our minds to the design as the work progressed and they responded very well. They also recommended better options during the construction for our consideration. They always looked for the lowest cost way of doing things without sacrificing quality. We always discussed these options and agreed on the way forward. As with most renovations, we discovered poor materials and poor workmanship with the original house that needed to be fixed. We agreed on what to do with these ( if anything) and the various cost options. They are very selective on the workers they employ. All of the workers never stop working, they are on time and are very knowledgeable in their craft. They will complete a job when they say they will. They worked every day including weekends if necessary. We dealt with 25 different subcontractors on our project. There was always a Justice guy on site whenever any of the subcontractors were there- without exception. They stayed until the subcontractor left the site. Justice billed a fraction of the agreed contract on a monthly basis but tended to be more of a month and a half. It was more based on the completion of major portions of the work completed. The billing was simply the approx percentage of work completed applied to the agreed contract price I would definitely use them again.”
