“I hired J & G Builders for several projects on my home; replace roofing, replace chimney cap, replace front entry, replace damaged siding/trim, install internal and external lighting, and repaint the exterior. The experience from the original bid to handing over the final check was above expectations. The estimate was fair, as compared to other bids (not the lowest and not the highest). A clear timeline and sequence was laid out, and it was met to my satisfaction. The workmanship and interaction with all those doing the work was well above expectations. I was particularly impressed with how quickly the roofing was removed and replaced. Overall, I would give J&G Builders 5-stars, and I will be calling them again for future projects. “I chose Aaron Thiel of Leiht Restoration to do several projects in my large walk out ranch home because in my opinion he is the most reliable and innovative contractor in central Iowa. He is extremely intelligent, conscientious, timely and considerate while working in your home. He takes many precautions such as noise barriers, dust barriers, and daily clean-up to make what might be an unpleasant project a pleasant experience. My first project involved removing a wall in my dining room and installing oak floor in the dining room, guest bedroom and foyer area. The floor is layed perfectly and he did such a good job of repairing the existing wall, one cannot even tell where the old wall existed. We next remodeled my guest bath and added a whirlpool tub, heated tile floor, and added some needed insulation. It turned the bath from an antiquated 70's bath to one envied by all who see it. On my lower level he placed wood flooring on the concrete floor and replaced the popcorn ceilings with beautifully done flat ceilings. A large deck was built on the back of the house off the first floor family room with a permanent concrete table for 6 and a concrete bar. It is so well built I have no qualms about entertaining many guests out there. The last project was remodeling my master bedroom suite. Aaron was very innovating in designing an area off my bedroom to incorporate a new round open shower. The space taken from the master bedroom has never been missed. He was able to completely open the space by removing all the walls that made it so compartmentalized and turn the space into a bathroom for today.”
